摘要： The invention relates to a drive device in a reverse vending machine to forcibly drive at least one handling unit therein suited to handle empty packaging in the form of empty beverage containers. The handling unit is free of any electrical wiring or electrical components, is configured to be fully cleanable through use of water or other cleaning agent, and has a mechanical drive which is connected, via a mechanically separable power transfer coupling, to a separate electrically powered drive installed on a wall, a framework or part of a cabinet of the return vending machine. Further, the handling unit is locatable in a releasable manner inside the cabinet. The device is useful in a reverse vending machine (RVM) for receiving, handling, sorting and storing returnable items or objects. The RVM includes an item supporting, rotating, sorting and conveyor unit, an upwardly oriented storage chamber for such items, a safety apparatus to avoid operational hazards, a camera aided detection device for detecting at least one of a bar code on and other characteristics, e.g. contour, of an item, a simplified token system , and the drive system with a releasable power coupling for operating the sorting device and a further storage device.

Underlying conveyor baskets (B) on a mail sorting line are moved parallel to and in synchronization with the transfer baskets (120) during the transfer of the mail (M). The lever is pivoted about an axis parallel to the axis of the mail sorting and distributing turntable.

摘要： A recirculating device receives parts in bulk which are bunched together. The device includes a cone-shaped rotating disk which receives the parts and redistributes the parts into separate units. The parts are delivered to an inner periphery of the cone of the cone-shaped disk, and then slide down the inclined slope of the cone. As the parts slide down the rotating cone, they become spaced further apart due to the increase in radius of the outer periphery of the cone as compared with the radius of the inner periphery of the cone. The separated parts may then be effectively handled by a picker-type robot utilizing a vision system or sensor means to discriminate the individual parts.
