Each drive wheel (13, 23) is independently rotatable in opposite directions. The system further includes a wall panel mount assembly having a housing (26) integral with a movable wall panel (1) and slide pads (79, Fig. 4) at track intersections to reduce the vertical elevational drop of a trolley when it moves across a track intersection.

The guiding device comprises a guiding element which is embodied as a cylindrical bar (6) and at least two swivelling rollers (3) which are secured to the sliding door by securing elements (5). The bar (6) is secured to the body of the piece of furniture (2) by holding elements (7, 17). The swivelling rollers (3) are provided with a bearing surface (4) whereby that said surface (4) lies fully on the bar (6) at the contact point with said bar (6).
