    摘要: A dispensing apparatus and method for dispensing sheet material from roll of the sheet material. Dispensing is transferred from a stub roll (S) to a reserve roll (R) automatically in response to sensing a predetermined quantity of the stub roll (S). An isolating element (102a) is provided to lift the reserve roll (R) out of contact with dispensing rollers (44a-44) during dispensing of sheet material from the stub roll (S), and a nipping element (70) is provided to nip sheet material of the reserve roll (R) when dispensing is transferred from the stub roll (S) to the reserve roll (R). A camming mechanism (88) controls movement of both the lifting mechanism and the nipping element (70). Structure (108) is also provided for sensing the diameter of the reserve roll (R) of sheet material and providing an indication when the reserve roll (R) is a predetermined diameter. The dispenser is quite and capacity efficient.

    摘要: A toilet roll holder includes a frame (2) and a cover (1) rotatably mounted to the frame by a rotary shaft (6). The toilet roll holder further includes a support (3) mounted within the cover (1) and supporting toilet rolls (11) thereon, an operating plate (5) located below and adjacent to a rear edge of the support (3) and rotatably mounted to the cover (1) by a shaft (7), a brake plate (4) rotatably mounted within the frame (2) by a shaft (8) extending in parallel to the shaft (7), and converging holding frames (9) arranged on opposite sides of the brake plate (4). The operating plate (5) is inserted into the holding frames (9) through their upper ends when the cover (1) is moved to a closed position and is normally fit loosely between the brake plate (4) and the holding frames (9) so as to permit the toilet paper to freely pass between the operating plate (5) and the brake plate (4). The operating plate (5) is moved toward an inclined position to close to the brake plate (4) when a free end of the toilet paper is pulled forwards, whereby the operating plate (5) and the brake plate (4) cooperatively sandwich the toilet paper therebetween to provide a counterforce necessary to cut the toilet paper.
