    摘要: It is suggested in connection with the production of slat packages for Venetian blinds whose slats (3), placed over each other, are introduced between a first and a second transverse band (2, 2') in double rungs in carrying bands or ladders (1) consisting of bands or cords, and where the slats (3) are conveyed one by one tothe carrying band (1) and lifted after being introduced into a double rung (2, 2') - in order to enable mechanical introduction of the slats - that a double rung (2, 2') should be stretched between two teeth (4) projecting over the plane in which the slats are conveyed, that a slat (3) is conveyed forward until it has passed under the first of the two transverse bands (2, 2'), and that the slat (3) is then lifted so that when further conveyed it passes over the second of the two transverse bands (2, 2'). The slat (3) can be lifted by means of an inclined plane (5) placed between the teeth (4).

    摘要: An apparatus for manufacturing cellular laminate structural panels includes one or more supply stations (62) of a flexible strip material (96) including folding rollers (66) for sequentially folding the strip material into cellular structures and feeding the cellular structures into a conveyor where the cellular structures are held in compression. The apparatus further includes a laminating station (68) where the folded cellular structures are laminated to an upper and/or lower sheet material to which lines of a bonding medium (74) have been applied prior to engagement with the cellular structures. The folded cellular structures are heated (176) before engaging the sheet material so as to enhance the bonding of the sheet material to the cellular structures and subsequent to bonding, the laminate is passed through a cooling station (227) to set the bonding medium. Downstream from the laminating station, the laminate passes through a side edge folding station (80) where edges of the sheet material are folded over side edges of the laminate to finish the side edges of the laminate and subsequently the laminate is passed into a cutter (82) for cutting the continuous laminate into predetermined lengths. Ends of the cut panels then receive rigid edge strips (86) to fully finish the panel. The method of the invention includes the steps performed by the components of the apparatus.

    摘要: An apparatus (10) is provided for automatically cutting stripematerials (22) into slats (20) for a venetian blind. The apparatus (10) has a feeding station (12), a cutting station (14), a punching station (16) and a laddering station (18). Strip materials (22) for the slats (20) are stored in a magazine (24) of the station (12) and they are fed one at a time to the cutting station (14) for cutting into slats (20) of preset length after slots (46) have been punched. The slats (20) are then fed to the laddering station (18) for assembling into blinds. A sensor (56, 58) is positioned to sense remnants of the strip material (22) and the remnants are automatically moved back to the feeding station (12) where they are lifted off the feeding path for ejection by a following strip (12).
