Beschrieben wird eine Vorrichtung zum Einführen von Fülldrähten (9) in ein Drahtgliederband (2), die sich in Förderrichtung einer Maschine zum Herstellen des Drahtgliederbandes hinter einer Zuführeinrichtung (4) für die Steckdrähte (5) befindet. Mit Hilfe einer Führungsplatte (13) mit Kanälen und einer Walze (18) werden die Fülldrähte (9) in die entsprechenden Öffnungen des schon fertiggestellten Drahtgliederbandes eingeführt. Die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung gestattet ein abschnittweises, maschinelles Einführen der Fülldrähte in das eigentliche Drahtgliederband. Die Fülldrähte können gleichzeitig mit den Steckdrähten eingeführt werden, so daß sich eine wesentlich höhere Produktionsgeschwindigkeit ergibt.

A coil of a tube is formed. The coil is vibrated while a threadlike piece is passed in through the inlet end of the tube so that a given point of the tube reciprocates along a helical path. Provision is made to ensure that inlet end of the tube does not cause a portion of the threadlike piece upstream of and close to that inlet end to move diametrically while being fed into the tube. Provision is also made to form a coil of the threadlike piece, from which the threadlike piece is pull out along the axis of the coil and fed to the inlet end of the tube by conveying force resulting from the vibration of the coil of the tube. A feeder to supply the threadlike piece into the tube may be provided between the inlet end of the tube and a coil feeding device.

A threading device comprises a star wheel formed of two half sections secured together and rotatably mounted in a casing to project therefrom. The confronting surfaces of the radial projections of the mating star wheel parts near the tip thereof are formed with arcuate grooves in which an arcuate central portion of a rod-like threading member is slidably located but trapped therebetween. The threading member has elongate end portions projecting one on each side of the star wheel and one such portion is adapted for connection thereto of a flexible elongate line to be threaded by the device. The leading elongate end portion of the threading member is passed through, or beneath, an element with which the line is to be threaded to effect a threading operation.

An apparatus and method for feeding a flexible elongate member, e.g. pile weatherstrip, into a groove in an elongated member, the apparatus being capable of being driven by an electric motor or drill and including a pair of rollers (11,17) defining a nip through which the pile is driven into an outlet guide (43) with which the groove in the elongated member is alinged atthe downstream-end thereof. It is preferred that two sets of roller nips are provided, there being a common roller for each nip and there being an inlet guide (39) to direct the pile weatherstrip into a first nip, and an intermediate guide (41) to direct the weatherstrip from the first nip to the second nip and hence into the outlet guide (43). Preferably, the roller common to each pair is driven via a toothed belt, and the other two rollers can be moved towards or away from said common roller. Preferably, this roller has a grooved periphery to receive the pile of the weatherstrip and all the rollers are knurled.

Um in einer Vorrichtung zur mechanischen Ausrichtung von Trägersubstraten für elektronische Schaltungen, welche zwei Hauptoberflächen (3,4) und eine Umfangsfläche (5,6,7,8) aufweisen und einer horizontalen Aufnahme (30,31) der Vorrichtung zugeführt werden, wobei zur Ausrichtung der Trägersubstrate (1) in der horizontalen Aufnahme Zentrierelemente (10-13) an der Umfangsfläche der Trägersubstrate zur Anlage gebracht werden, eine Beschädigung der Trägersubstrate zu vermeiden, wird vorgeschlagen, daß wenigstens zwei Zentrierelemente auf wenigstens zwei zueinander parallelen und parallel zu der horizontalen Aufnahme (30,31) orientierten ersten Achsen (20,21) drehbar und in Achsrichtung verschiebbar gelagert sind, welche Zentrierelemente (10,11) an in einer ersten Richtung sich gegenüberliegenden Abschnitten der Umfangsfläche des Trägersubstrats (1) zur Anlage gelangen, und daß wenigstens zwei weitere Zentrierelemente (12,13) an in einer zu der ersten Richtung senkrecht verlaufenden zweiten Richtung sich gegenüberliegenden Abschnitten der Umfangsfläche des Trägersubstrats mit Anschlagflächen zur Anlage gelangen, welche Anschlagflächen in einer Richtung senkrecht zur horizontalen Aufnahme beweglich gelagert sind.
