    摘要: The invention relates to a lock for a luggage box installed overhead in the cabin of an aircraft, comprising a stationary housing and a cover that can move about a rotary axis. The lock comprises a locking pin device that can be mounted on the housing, comprising two locking pins (32, 32b) disposed in parallel, a catch (20) that can be mounted on the cover and that has two locking hooks (55, 55b) that can be pivoted about a pivot axis (22, 22b) for receiving the locking pins (32, 32b) for locking the lock (10), and a manually actuatable drive device (60) for jointly pivoting the locking hooks (51, 51b) away from the locking pins (32, 32b) for unlocking the lock (10). The drive device (60) comprises a gear rack (62) and a sliding element (64) that can be linearly displaced against the pressure of a spring element (70). The locking hooks (51, 51b) are each connected to the gear rack (62) or the sliding element (64) by a knee joint (74, 74b) that is hinged to the closing hook (51, 51b) adjacent to the pivot axis (22, 22b) thereof in such a way that the lock can be opened again only by tensile force acting on the hinged point of the knee joint (74, 74b) on the locking hook (51, 51b). This allows the functions of fail-safe and positive locking, which are required in aero technics, in a simple manner, wherein positive locking is achieved in that the knee joints (74, 74b) can each be brought into an end locking position in which said joints are mechanically locked and thus automatically prevent the lock from opening due to overload or vibration.

    摘要: A blowout latch (10) for releasably securing and aircraft panel (12) to an aircraft structure (18). The blowout latch (10) includes a housing (26), a bolt (28), and a handle (30). The housing includes a bias section (40) that has a plate (84), a block (86) adjacent the plate, a bias section (40) such as at least one coil spring (88) havingopposing ends (92, 94), a roller mount (96), and a roller pin (98). A trigger (32) is carried on the handle and is selectively engageable with the bolt to manually open the latch. The roller amount has a roller mount base. One end of the coil spring contacts the roller mount base. The opposing end of the coil spring contacts the block. The roller pin is rotably mounted to the roller mount. The bolt is rotatably mounted to the housing moveable between a latched and an unlatched position and is used to engage the aircraft structure. The bolt has a secured position. The bolt is held in its secured position by the coil spring which biases the roller pin against the bolt. The handle is rotably mounted to the bolt and is moveable between a latched position and an unlatched position, without the use of a tool. The handle provides an indicator when the blowout latch is in an open position.

The ends (34, 36) of said bar are both fixed in a support (40, 38) and at least one of these two supports (for example, 40) is coupled to a hook (30) with free travel (50, 52) which is mounted in a pivoting manner coaxially to the swivel pin and forms the locking latch.

    摘要: A bonnet opening device (10) comprising a rear part (20) provided with a cylindrical body (22) surrounding and clamping a sheath (12) for receiving and protecting a driving cable (11). There is provided a lock (14) for retaining the sheath at the opposite end thereof helped by a dust-coat (13). Rotation of the rear part makes said lock to be released through a spear (17). The sheath is provided with a cover inside of which a stranded wire bundle is disposed wherein a metal coil is arranged. Disassembling of the device is made by rotating the hood of the rear part and releasing the spear from the lock. There are also provided projections extending from the spear which may be transversely moved and either transversely compressed or expanded but never being released from the lock as the cable is rotated.

The locking mechanism is positioned on a center post of the storage container and includes a sled, a handle or knob, a connecting mechanism, a sled arresting mechanism, and a lock. Depending upon the position of the lock, the handle can unlatch the container. When the lock is in the unlocked position, the sled arresting mechanism allows the unlatching of the container. When the lock is in the locked position, the sled arresting mechanism prevents the unlatching of the container. The locking mechanism is resistant to drill attack due to its vertical configuration and positioning of a cover on the center post.
