摘要： A document support stand (2) for removably mounting a document holder (14) on the stand includes a main body (4) which may be formed in the shape of a truncated pyramid. The body has a viewing side (6), and first (8a) and second (8b) support sides for supporting the stand on a desk or table top. The support sides constitute adjacent sides on the truncated pyramid body, and are disposed at acute angles to the viewing side. An elongated bracket defining a T-slot (24) is mounted on the viewing side of the body. The document holder includes an elongated member configured as a T-shaped rail (52) which is receivable by the bracket of the stand so that the document holder may be mounted on the stand. The stand may be rotated 90° from one support side to the other so that the viewing side and the document holder mounted on the viewing side may be disposed in different viewing positions.

The article may be a cabinet, such as a medicine cabinet or the like, although the system described herein may be used for hanging any type of article from a support surface such as a wall. The system uses surface mounting element that is coupled to the support surface and a cam lock that is slidably coupled to the article to hang the article from the support surface by coupling the surface mounting element to the cam lock. Because the cam lock is slidably coupled to the article, the article can move horizontally along the support surface without separating the article from the support surface.
