    摘要： Various devices, assemblies, components, systems, and methods are provided relating to a volume flow rate smoothing device. An example smoothing device may include a body portion defining a chamber therein. The smoothing device may further include a first flow restrictor portion and a second flow restrictor portion each disposed in fluid communication with the body. The smoothing device may be configured to fluidically communicate with a pump via a first end of the smoothing device to receive a fluid flow from the pump along a fluid pathway extending through the first flow restrictor portion, the body portion, and the second flow restrictor portion. The first flow restrictor portion may be disposed upstream of the body portion. The second flow restrictor portion may be disposed downstream of the body portion.

    摘要： The present invention discloses a respiratory apparatus for use in treating a respiratory disorder in a patient, the system comprising: a vaporizer apparatus comprising: a vaporizer housing; a vaporizer inlet configured to be connectable to an air circuit and to receive a nebula in a flow of air at a positive pressure with respect to ambient pressure; a heating element configured to generate heat to vaporize the received nebula to humidify the flow of air; and a vaporizer outlet positioned on a posterior side of the vaporizer housing in use and configured to connect to a patient interface for delivering the humidified flow of air; and the patient interface, the patient interface being configured to be directly connected to the vaporizer apparatus, the patient interface comprising a plenum chamber, wherein the vaporizer housing is connected to the plenum chamber; wherein the vaporizer apparatus comprises one or more connecting surfaces surrounding the vaporizer outlet; wherein the plenum chamber comprises one or more complementary connecting surfaces surrounding an opening in the plenum chamber; and wherein the one or more connecting surfaces are structured to sealingly mate with the one or more complementary connecting surfaces.
