    摘要: Method(s) and apparatus(s) of counting gemstones using image processing is described. A gemstone counting apparatus (100) includes a housing (102). The housing (102) includes a tray (120) for holding a plurality of gemstones. The housing (102) further includes a vibrating mechanism to vibrate the tray (120) after a pre-defined time period. The vibrating mechanism arranges the plurality of gemstones in one level. Further, the housing (102) includes a middle plate (113) to hold a camera (114). The camera (114) is positioned directly above the tray (120) to capture images of the tray (120) each time the tray (120) is vibrated by the vibrating mechanism. The images are processed by a processing unit to count number of gemstones in the tray (120).

    摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide a weighing device having an improved yield when objects having unfixed individual weights such as natural objects are quantitatively weighed and controlled to be discharged.
    The weighing device includes: a weighing means; a conveying means; a plurality of discharge parts; discharging means provided corresponding to the discharge parts; and a controlling part. The controlling part includes: a weight setting means for setting a final target weight; an integrating means for integrating the weights of the weighed objects in each of the discharge parts; a calculating means for calculating a final target weight difference in each of the discharge parts, the final target weight difference being a difference between the integration weight and the final target weight; a storing means for storing the final target weight, the integration weight, and the final target weight difference; a comparing means for comparing the weight of the objects measured by the weighing means with the final target weight difference; and a discharging control means for sorting the weighed object to a discharge part having a weight which is no less than the final target weight difference and approximate to the final target weight difference based on the comparison result.
