Abstract:
[Problem]The present invention relates to a manufacturing method for obtaining a molded article having an expanded layer in the molded article, wherein an expanding agent and device used to manufacture a resin having expansion properties, and a means for increasing expansion ratio are provided. [Solution] In the present invention, an expanding agent placed in a heating cylinder of a molding machine is configured as a liquid, the volume of the expanding agent is controlled, and the expanding agent is injected into a molten resin in the heating cylinder of the molding machine. The volume of the injected expanding agent can thereby be accurately measured each time. When a low-boiling liquid such as water, an alcohol, or an ether is used as the injected expanding agent, all of the liquid is vaporized by the temperature of the heating cylinder of the molding machine, and no residue thereof is therefore left in the molded article. When sodium bicarbonate water is used as the injected expanding agent, solvent water vaporizes and water vapor also becomes expandable gas, which is less expensive than using sodium bicarbonate as the expanding agent for a master batch using the resin that is to be molded.
Abstract:
A resin casting mold includes a cavity having a predetermined shape and is used for producing a molded resin product by transferring the shape of a surface on the cavity side of a mold member forming the cavity to a resin material. The surface on the cavity side of the mold member includes first and second surfaces facing each other in a first direction and each of the first and second surfaces have a predetermined surface shape, the mold member includes an insert member which forms a part of a third surface different from any one of the first and second surfaces of the surface on the cavity side and which is slidable in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, at least one cross-sectional shape of the cavity satisfies a relation h
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing a molded element, which method comprises the following steps: introducing a melt into a molding tool (102, 104), increasing the pressure of the melt to such a degree that the melt solidifies, and cooling the solidified melt. The invention also relates to a control for a machine and to a computer program product.
Abstract:
A method for forming shaped parts from polycarbonate that results in parts having substantially increased chemical resistance. The method includes providing a mold having at least one cavity, such that the mold has a means for cooling the area adjacent to the cavity. Molten polycarbonate is then mixed with a supercritical fluid to form a mixture. This mixture is injected into the mold while using the cooling means to cool the cavity so that its temperature is no more than 150 degrees F. Further improvement in chemical resistance is achieved when fluid pressure is held on the cooling part for a short period.

Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a tube of an injector having a cylindrical part with an excellent roundness and capable of preventing deformation and warpage from occurring thereon, comprising the steps of injecting molten resin (R) into the cavity (17) of a metal mold (11) comprising a fixed mold (13) having a hole part (12) formed along the outer shape of the injector outer tube (1) provided therein, a movable mold (14) closing the hole part (12), and a core (15) inserted into the hole part (12), injecting the molten resin (R) into a cylindrical hollow part (21) communicating with the flange formed part (20) of the hole part (12) from a spool (22) and a runner (23) through a submarine gate (24) to lead the molten resin (R) into the cavity (17), force-feeding the resin inside the cylindrical hollow part (21) into the cavity (17) by a push pin (25) installed in the cylindrical hollow part (21) when the molten resin comes into semi-molten state, and when the molten resin (R) is not filled sufficiently into the cavity (17), the wait position of the push pin (25) is changed in the direction of moving apart from the connection part of the submarine gate (24) and the molten resin (R) is injected to re-fill the insufficient resin into the cavity (17).
Abstract:
In a process for manufacturing injection mouldings in an injection moulding machine for processing plasticized masses, a regulated subsequent pressure is applied by the injection moulding unit (13). At least in the areas of the moulding away from the sprue, the subsequent pressure is generated by a regulated volume alteration of the mould cavity. The subsequent pressure can thus be reliably distributed during the subsequent pressure phase even in the case of complex mouldings.
