The present disclosure discloses a road-rail dual-purpose vehicle, comprising a vehicle frame (1), and a lifting airbag mounting seat (1c) is provided between two longitudinal beams (1a) of the vehicle frame (1); a load-bearing airbag insertion hole is formed in a lower cover plate (1a1) of the longitudinal beam (1a); a load-bearing airbag mounting seat (1d) is installed in the load-bearing airbag insertion hole, and a bearing bolster (1e) is installed on an outer side of the longitudinal beam (1a). A suspension (2) comprises an axle assembly (2a); a lifting airbag (2b) is installed in a middle portion of a front end of the axle assembly (2a); both sides of the rear end of the axle assembly (2a) are provided with primary load-bearing airbags (2c); and the two primary load-bearing airbags (2c) are respectively provided with the secondary load-bearing airbags (2c); the lifting airbag (2b) is installed on the lifting airbag mounting seat (1c), and the secondary load-bearing airbag (2e) is installed in the load-bearing airbag mounting seat (1d). The single-axle bogie (3) comprises a framework (3a), and both ends of the framework (3a) are provided with axle boxes (3b); a primary damping spring assembly (3d) is provided between the axle boxes (3b) and the vehicle frame (1); and a vehicle frame connection assembly (3f) is provided on both ends of the top surface of the framework (3a) respectively; the framework (3a) is installed on the bottom surface of the bearing bolster (1e) through the vehicle frame connection assembly (3f). A coupling mechanism for use on a railcar moving vehicle designed to couple with European-type railway cars having an end sill at each end of the car which supports a centrally disposed draft hook and a pair of buffers mounted one at each end of the end sill, the coupling mechanism including a casting which moves laterally on a plurality of rollers, a crossbar or lifting beam carried on the end of the casting and pivotal relative thereto about a vertical axis, a pair of lifting forks carried on the respective ends of the crossbar, and a pair of buffer plates carried at opposite ends of the crossbar and positioned to push against corresponding buffers on a railway car. The coupling mechanism also includes sensing means which controls lateral movement of the casting during a pushing or pulling operation in accordance with relative lateral movement of the railcar end sill and buffers.

A wagon capable of traveling on a railway and on the ground, consisting of a chassis on which, near the front and rear ends, wheels are mounted for traveling on a railway, and parallel thereto, wheels for traveling on the ground. The wheels for traveling on the ground being offset from the pivot of the truck in a direction perpendicular to the axles and the wheels for traveling on a railway being mounted in a linkage attached to the truck near one end thereof, the other end connecting with a locking means brought into engagement by the swing of the linkage with at least one receiving member attached to the chassis, so that a truck may be fixed in one or more positions. Because the wheels are mounted in trucks, the wagon can readily negotiate sharp curves in the railway, and because the ground wheels are offset from the pivot of the truck, a sort of swivel is formed, so that in traveling on the ground, the swivels will always caster to the rear in relation to the direction of travel.
