The trailering support device performs automatic vessel steering control so as to move the hull toward the trailer, estimates, based on a content of the automatic vessel steering control, a position and an azimuth of the hull at a predetermined timing after start of the automatic vessel steering control, detects the position, a steering angle and the azimuth, of the hull, respectively compares the position and the azimuth estimated with the position and the azimuth detected at the predetermined timing, and determines, based on a comparison result, whether the loading of the hull onto the trailer is performable, and in a case where it is determined that the loading of the hull onto the trailer is not performable, notifies of that matter.

The present invention relates to a foldable motor carrier adapted for mounting on a trailer hitch, comprising a first and second bar (1, 2), each having a lower and upper end (1a,2a,1b,2b), and their upper ends are pivotable to each other between an unfolded and folded position, means (4) for attaching the lower ends to the trailer hitch, and a beam (7) having a first end (7a) pivotally connected to the first bar and a second end (7b) removably attached to the second bar. The first end (7a) of the beam comprises two protruding elements (8a-b) pivotally connected to the upper end (1a) of the first bar and extending at a distance from each other on opposite sides of the first bar (1) and arranged so that a first space is defined between them for receiving the first bar. The second end (7b) of the beam comprises two protruding elements (8c-d) extending at a distance from each other so that a second space is defined between them for receiving the second bar (2) when the bars are in the unfolded position. In one aspect the invention provides a boat support frame loading and unloading apparatus configured to draw a boat on to and off a boat support frame. This boat support frame has a loading end and a terminal end opposite to the loading end. The apparatus provided includes at least one roller assembly mounted to the support frame adjacent to the loading end of the support frame, said at least one roller assembly incorporating at least one roller element. The apparatus also includes at least one drive mechanism configured to rotate one or more roller elements to draw a boat onto and off the support frame through the loading end of the support frame. The roller assembly also includes a hull contact surface formed by a flexible belt which has a circumference greater than the circumference of the said at least one roller element incorporated into the roller assembly.
