The present invention concerns a vehicle, in particular scooter, comprising a frame, at least two wheels rotatably mounted to the frame and two drive levers arranged adjacent to each other, the drive levers being rotatably connected with their one end to the frame such that the other end of the respective drive lever may perform a reciprocating to- and fro-movement around its one end, a transmission which is connected to the at least one wheel in order to drive it rotationally, wherein a pulley is associated with each drive lever, around which pulley a pulling means like a rope, cable or belt is wound and which pulling means in turn is connected with the respective drive lever and with the transmission such that by actuating at least one of the drive levers at least in the fro-direction, the movement of the drive lever being transmitted by its respective pulling means via its respective pulley to the transmission and being converted into a rotational movement of the at least one wheel in driving direction of the vehicle.

The present invention relates to a bicycle propelling device capable of transferring power to a bicycle wheel by using the gripping force of both hands. The present propelling device uses the gripping force, and thus overcomes the problem of prior art hand and foot bicycles in which balance is easily lost during driving because the prior art hand and foot bicycles require the use of the arms. The propelling device can be used together with a pedaling operation when greater power is required while the user is riding the bicycle as usual, thereby improving the running efficiency of the bicycle. Furthermore, the propelling device is formed by combining simple devices including a string and a freewheel, and thus a bicycle can maintain the original structure thereof as it is, so that it does not cause any disadvantage or difference when the user rides the bicycle by stepping on pedals in a conventional manner.

In order to provide a scooter with manual drive, comprising a footboard (10) for a rider standing thereon, at least one rear wheel (22, 24), at least one front wheel (26) and handlebars acting on the front wheel (26), and a driving means which is operatively connected to a wheel and to at least one hand-grip, which scooter permits varied and targeted training of different muscle portions of the upper body and provides an optimized drive which is easy to maintain, an embodiment is proposed in which the manual drive is designed to be actuable both by hand-crank actuation and by pivoting actuation, in which at least one second driving means is operatively connected to the wheel to be driven and to at least one hand-grip, wherein the two driving means comprise freewheeling and idling during a shifting motion, and wherein one drive is designed to be opposed to the other drive.
