The present invention relates to apparatus for transferring security documents. The apparatus is formed from a carrier adapted for use in an air tube system capable of transporting the carrier from a source to a destination. Appareil d'extraction d'objets (32) immobilisés dans des tronçons (19) d'un réseau de transfert pneumatique (30). Il comprend essentiellement un tuyau souple (12), un récipient blindé (10) et une soufflante (5). Une bride (16) permet de raccorder le tuyau (12) à l'extrémité amont du tronçon (19). Une aspiration permet ensuite d'attirer le cruchon bloqué (32) au fond du récipient blindé (8) en le faisant reculer dans le tronçon (19). Avantageusement, la soufflante (5) est réversible pour propulser le cruchon (32) en sens inverse vers une installation de rebut sur laquelle on branche le tuyau souple (12). Les manipulations sont donc réduites ainsi que les risques de contamination.
