    Abstract: The present invention relates to a fluorinated compound represented by Formula (2-12):

    wherein Ar 2 is a C 6 -C 30 aryl group; or a C 2 -C 30 heterocyclic group including at least one heteroatom of O, N, 5, Si or P; A' is a C 6 -C 30 arylene group; R 4 is selected from a group consisting of a C 6 -C 30 aryl group; a fluorenyl group; a C 2 -C 30 heterocyclic group including at least one heteroatom of O, N, 5, Si or P; a C 1 -C 20 alkyl group; and a C 1 -C 20 alkoxyl group; or R 4 may be bonded to each other to form a ring, R 3 ' is each independently selected from a group consisting of hydrogen; deuterium; a C 6 -C 30 aryl group; fluorenyl group; a C 2 -C 30 heterocyclic group including at least one heteroatom of O, N, 5, Si or P; a C 1 -C 20 alkyl group; and a C 1 -C 20 alkoxyl group; and R 3 ' may be bonded to each other to form a ring, b and c are each independently an integer from 0 to 10, x is an integer from 2 to 15, y+z is an integer from 2x+1, wherein, the aryl group, the arylene group, the heterocyclic group, the fluorenyl group, the alkyl group, the alkoxyl group and a ring formed by bonding adjacent groups to each other may be further substituted with one or more substituents selected from the group consisting of each deuterium; halogen; a C 1 -C 20 alkyl group; C 2- C 20 alkenyl group; C 6- C 20 aryl group; C 6- C 20 aryl group substituted with deuterium; C 6- C 20 aryl group substituted with halogen; and C 2- C 20 heterocyclic group, also the substituents may be bonded to each other to form a ring.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a fluorination method comprising providing an aryl fluorosulfonate and a fluorinating reagent to a reaction mixture; and reacting the aryl fluorosulfonate and the fluorinating reagent to provide a fluorinated aryl species. Further disclosed a fluorination method comprising providing a compound having the structure Ar—OH to a reaction mixture; where A is an aryl or heteroaryl; providing SO2F2 to the reaction mixture; providing a fluorinating reagent to the reaction mixture; reacting the SO2F2, the fluorinating reagent and the compound having the structure Ar—OH to provide a fluorinated aryl species having the structure Ar—F.
