The present invention relates to fabric softener active compositions comprising a combination of a mixture of quaternary ester ammonium compounds and fatty solvents (a fatty acid ester, a fatty acid, a fatty alcohol and mixtures thereof) and methods of making and using the same. The fabric softener active compositions comprise component (a), said component being a mixture of quaternary ester ammonium compounds obtained by esterification of a mixture of alkanolamines comprises at least a trialkanolamine and a monoalkyldialkanolamine; component (b), said component being a fatty acid ester or a mixture of fatty acid esters, wherein the component (b) content is in the range from 5 to 60% wt. based on the total weight of the fabric softener active composition; and a component (c), said component being a fatty acid or a mixture of fatty acids, wherein the component (c) content is in the range from 0 to 15% wt. based on the total weight of the fabric softener active composition. The invention also proposes fabric softener compositions, comprising the previously described active compositions, and methods of making and using the same.

The present invention relates to a fabric softener active composition comprising: a component (a),said component comprising at least one or more quaternary mono-, di- or tri-ester ammonium compounds; a component (b), said component being a fatty acid ester or a mixture of fatty acid esters, wherein the component (b) content is in the range from 5 to 60% wt. based on the total weight of the fabric softener active composition; a component (c), said component being a fatty acid or a mixture of fatty acids, wherein the component (c) content is higher than 0 and lower than 5, preferably lower than 2% wt. based on the total weight of the fabric softener active composition a component (d), said component being a C 18 -C 20 fatty alcohol, preferably a C 18 fatty alcohol; and wherein the component (d) content is in the range from 2 to 12% wt. based on the total weight of the fabric softener active composition. The fermented fruit solutions can contain fruit, sugar and water. Further described herein are methods of making fermented fruit solutions for use with cleaning compositions. The fermented fruit solutions described herein can be used in cleaning compositions including laundry detergents, stain removers, fabric softeners, floor cleaners, bathroom cleaners, dishwashing products, kitchen cleaners, liquid soap, multi-purpose cleaners and the like.

Described herein are methods for making laundry detergent compositions comprising fermented fruit solutions and natural based surfactants. The fermented fruit solutions contain fruit, sugar and water. The natural based surfactant is selected from the group consisting of sodium lauryl sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine, alkyl polyglycoside, and mixtures thereof. The laundry detergent compositions can be used to clean articles, launder articles, and clean stains from articles.

The present invention is a method for producing a specific sulfate, including steps of: feeding a specific starting compound having an oxypropylene group as a flow running down along the inner wall of a reaction tube to form a thin film of the starting compound on the inner wall of the reaction tube, the tube being provided in a jacket system including two or more temperature-controlled jackets in which a temperature-controlling fluid can flow, and together feeding the SO 3 gas to the reaction tube to react the starting compound with the SO 3 gas to obtain a sulfated product, and neutralizing the resultant sulfated product. The two or more jackets include the upstream jacket placed on the upstream part and the downstream jacket placed on the downstream part in the direction of the flow of the starting compound, and are used under specific conditions.

Beschrieben werden konzentrierte Fettalkoholsulfatzubereitungen, die mehr als 35 Gew.-% an Fettalkoholsulfat (FAS) enthalten. Die Mittel sind wässerig, enthalten aber neben dem FAS noch Polyole und/oder oder Fettsäurealkylamide und/oder öllösliche Betaine. Sie eignen sich zur Herstellung von Wasch- und Reinigungsmitteln, aber auch zur Herstellung kosmetischer Mittel, insbesondere von Zahnpflegemitteln.
