摘要:
Provided is a method for building a coke oven whereby a coke oven can be built efficiently by laying shaped refractories to a high degree of precision while reducing the burden on workers, without using large module bricks. Our method for building a coke oven in order to renew or newly build a coke oven includes producing a block by laying a plurality of shaped refractories at a location other than a building site of the coke oven, transporting the block to the building site of the coke oven, applying mortar to a position for placing the block, and placing the block at the position where the mortar was applied. The length in the longitudinal direction of the block is at least 1/4 and at most 2/3 of an oven length of the coke oven, and the height of the block is less than 2 m.

A hearth for a metallurgical reactor, in particular for a blast furnace, has an outer shell and an annular wall lining of refractory material inside the shell, the wall lining having a lower region with a multi-layered construction, a radially inner layer faces the interior of the hearth and includes at least one inner ring of refractory elements, radially outer layer faces the outer shell and has at least one outer ring of refractory elements, where in the at least one inner ring elements are made of a first carbonaceous refractory material that is different from one or more carbonaceous refractory materials of the elements in the outer layer such that, the first refractory material contains, in a proportion of at least 5% by mass in total, at least one property-enhancing additive other than metallic silicon or silicon carbide. In beneficial combination therewith, the at least one inner ring has a wall thickness of less than 45%, of the corresponding total wall thickness of the wall lining.

There are provided a shaft (4) adapted for introduction into a tubular member (6) made of refractory material and an expander provided on a leading edge of the shaft. The expander (3) has both ends provided with a repairing material container (4) and a seat plate (5). With the repairing material container having monolithic refractory material loaded therein confronted to a damaged portion in an inner wall of the tubular member, the expander is expanded by a driving motor (1) to push the repairing material container toward the damaged portion while pushing the seat plate in contact with a wall surface opposite to the damaged portion in behind. Thus, the monolithic refractory material is filled and deposited in the damaged portion under remote control.

A method is provided for lining a blast furnace or other metallurgical vessel in stages using a plurality of porous consumable forms and a pumpable casting composition. A form member, including a rigid support frame and a porous consumable form mounted thereto, is installed in a lower portion of the vessel being lined, and is spaced from the vessel wall. Casting composition is then pumped into the space between the consumable form and the vessel wall, and is permitted to harden. Then, another form member is positioned above the first, and casting composition is pumped into the space between the second form member and the vessel wall. This process is repeated, using stacked form members, until the refractory lining is completely installed.

Device for rapidly repairing the headplate of a blast furnace in the region of the taphole insert characterized in that it comprises a sleeve (10) of a consumable material to be fixed on the nose of the sealing device by compression against the headplate of the blast furnace in the region of the taphole during the sealing process and also a component (14) of a refractory material which is preformed inside the sleeve so as to be compressed against the headplate by the sealing device and adhere to the surface of said headplate, thereby providing a refractory protective lining with a recoating action.
