Die Erfindung betrifft eine Trennschicht auf einem Tragmittel für Öfen, in denen metallische Werkstücke wärmebehandelt werden. Bei der Wärmebehandlung AlSi-beschichteter Bleche ergibt sich das Problem, dass die Werkstoffe der Tragmittel der Öfen mit dem Aluminium der Beschichtung der Werkstücke thermo-chemisch reagieren und daher die Standzeit der Tragmittel gering ist. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, ein Tragmittel für einen Ofen für die Wärmebehandlung AlSi-beschichteter Metallteile anzugeben, das eine deutlich längere Standzeit als bekannte Tragmittel bei einem deutlich geringerem Preis als Tragmittel aus nichtoxidischer aluphober Keramik aufweist. Zur Lösung des Problems schlägt die Erfindung vor, dass das Tragmittel eine Oberfläche aus einem thermostabilen Metalloxid oder Metallnitrid, wie beispielsweise Aluminiumoxid, Boroxid oder Bornitrid aufweist.

The present invention relates to a method of forming a ceramic or ceramic-like coating on a substrate, especially electronic devices, as well as the substrate coated thereby. The method comprises coating said substrate with a solution comprising a solvent, hydrogen silsesquioxane resin and a modifying ceramic oxide precursor selected from the group consisting of tantalum oxide precursors, niobium oxide precursors, vanadium oxide precursors, phosphorous oxide precursors and boron oxide precursors. The solvent is then evaporated to thereby deposit a preceramic coating on the substrate. The preceramic coating is then ceramified by heating to a temperature of between about 40°C. and about 1000°C. This coating, moreover, may be covered by additional passivation and barrier coatings.
