A false-twisted low-fused polyester yarn and a multi-layer-structure woven or knitted fabric using same, the yarn characterized in having a non-untwisted part having a twist in a false-twist direction, an over-untwisted part having a twist in a direction opposite to the false-twist direction, and a non-twisted crimped part having no twist, alternately disposed along the longitudinal direction of the yarn, the average length of the non-untwisted part being no more than 7mm, the average length of the over-untwisted part being at least 7mm, and the degree of fusion-bonding in the yarn longitudinal direction being no more than 50%. Provided is a material making it possible to obtain a woven or knitted fabric provided with high-water absorbability for quick-drying and breathability.

A high twist polyester multifilament yarn having a twist of a twist multiplier K within a range between 15,000 and 25,000, made from polyester filaments consisting essentially of a copolymer of two or more monomers selected from the group consisting of ethylene terephthalate, trimethylene terephthalate and tetramethylene terephthalate and/or a blend of two or more polymers of the respective monomers and having a breaking elongation of not more than 60% and shrinkage in boiling water of not more than 6%. A woven or knitted crepe fabric obtained by employing such a high twist yarn has a desirable pebble configuration.

The present invention relates to an industrial high tenacity polyester fiber with superior creep properties and a method of preparing the same, and more particularly to an industrial polyester fiber having a mono-filament fineness of 5 to 15 dpf, an intrinsic viscosity of 0.8 to 1.25 dl/g, and a creep change rate of 4.7% or less, wherein the creep change rate is measured at 160 °C for 24 hours while giving a load corresponding to a strain of 3% after heat-treating the fiber at 220 °C for 2 minutes while giving a load of 1 g/d, and the load corresponding to the strain of 3% is based on a value obtained from a load-strain curve of the fiber before heat-treatment, and a method of preparing the same.

A yarn texturizing apparatus and method for texturizing a plurality of yarns, which can include a tack assembly and a jet box assembly. The tack assembly can be configured to receive a bundle of yarns and impart a plurality of twists to each bundle of yarns and subsequently impart a first tack point at a point corresponding to a twist reversal between the twists. The downstream jet box assembly can be configured to place a plurality of additional tack points intermittently along the plurality of twists of each bundle of yarn.
