摘要: To provide a towel product having a pile formed of a non-twisted yarn, wherein good touch feeling, lightness, and breathability are improved and sewing thereof can be eased. A non-twisted yarn having a fine count (a yarn count of 40-90) is employed as a pile yarn, as compared to the conventional art. This contributes to enhancement of good touch feeling, lightness, and breathability and suppression of bulkiness feeling. Further, this contributes to maintaining of heat-retaining property. As a result thereof, a towel cloth having a pile formed of a non-twisted yarn can be applied to clothes. The non-twisted yarn is formed by twisting fibers of raw cotton that has an effective fiber length (34-42 mm) longer than the usual. Further, the non-twisted yarn is adjusted its adjustable range of reverse within a predetermined range (-10ˆ¼10%). Accordingly, fluff come-out can be suppressed as well as stability of quality can be achieved.

摘要: Provided is a fabric that semi-permanently absorbs water even without being subjected to water absorption treatment, i.e., an absorbent fabric that has a pleasant feel, can quickly absorb perspiration when worn, has excellent comfort, and is soft and suitable for use in inner wear, sportswear, etc. The absorbent fabric according to the present invention includes polyester fibers in which ethylene terephthalate constitutes at least 95 mol% of repeating units, wherein a carboxylic acid terminated linear oligomer component is present on the surface of the polyester fibers, and the absorbency according to the JIS L1907 dripping method after washing 30 times according to the JIS L0217 103 C method is at most 5 seconds. The polyester fibers preferably contain 0.005-1 wt% of the S element.

摘要: Examples of the present technology may include a method of making a nonwoven fiber mat. The wet nonwoven fiber mat may include a first plurality of first glass fibers and a second plurality of second glass fibers. The first plurality of first glass fibers may have nominal diameters of less than 5 µm, and the second plurality of second glass fibers may have nominal diameters of greater than 6 µm. The method may further include curing the binder composition to produce the nonwoven fiber mat. The nonwoven fiber mat have a wick height of between about 1 cm and about 5 cm according to method ISO8787, and the nonwoven fiber mat may have a total normalized tensile strength greater than 2 (Ibf/in)/(Ib/sq) for a sq (100 ft 2 ).

摘要: A sliver for spinning of the invention is a sliver for spinning having a deodorizing function and/or a heat-generating moisture absorption function, wherein a sliver for spinning formed as a bundle in which staple fibers are aligned in one direction is irradiated with an electron beam to provide an activating group and/or produce a radical on a surface of the fibers, and a compound including an ethylenic unsaturated double bond is chemically bonded to the surface of the fibers. A spun yarn of the invention is a spun yarn having a deodorizing function and/or a heat-generating moisture absorption function, including the above-described sliver for spinning that has been spun, or including the above-described sliver for spinning and a sliver other than the sliver for spinning that have been blended and spun. A fiber product of the invention has a deodorizing function and/or a heat-generating moisture absorption function, including the above-described spun yarn. Thereby, a sliver having a deodorizing function and/or a heat-generating moisture absorption function, a method for producing the sliver in an efficient and rational manner, and a spun yarn and a fiber product using the sliver are provided.
