A device for weaving comprising: a housing structure; a plurality of pegs in communication with the housing structure; wherein at least a portion of the plurality of pegs extend at an angle relative to a plane so that at least a portion of the plurality of pegs are on a first side of the plane and at least a portion of the plurality of pegs are on a second side of the plane, and wherein the at least a portion of the plurality of pegs are movable from the first side of the plane to the second side of the plane. A method comprising: providing a plurality of pegs that include a portion that extend at angles relative to a plane so that at least the portion of one or more of the plurality of pegs are on a first side of the plane and at least the portion of one or more of the plurality of pegs are on a second side of the plane; extending one or more weft mediums substantially along the plane so that the one or more weft mediums are located on a first side of one or more of the plurality of pegs and on a second side of one or more of the plurality of pegs; and moving the plurality of pegs so that at least one of the plurality of pegs on the first side of the plane moves to the second side of the plane.

An operation control method of a multiple-phase loom arranged to weave a plurality of fabrics by simultaneously picking weft yarns respectively to a plurality of warp yarn arrays. In this loom operation control method, first the loom is stopped in case mispick is caused in any of the warp yarn arrays. Then, a mispicked weft yarn and a weft yarn normally picked simultaneously with the mispicked weft yarn are removed automatically. Thereafter, detection is made as to whether the mispicked weft yarn and the normally picked weft yarn are present or not in a weft picking channel. Finally, the loom is restarted upon detecting absence of the mispicked weft yarn and the normally picked weft yarn. Thus, the loom restart is carried out after completion of removal of the mispicked weft yarn and the like, thereby achieving effective loom operation without operational troubles, preventing weaving defects such as heavy filling bar in a woven fabric.

A carbon fiber woven fabric which uses a flat carbon fiber yarn consisting of many carbon fibers as at least its warp Twr or weft Twf, its weaving method and weaving apparatus. The flat carbon fiber yarn is twist-free, the number of its carbon fibers being 6,000 to 36,000, the yarn size being 3,000 to 30,000 deniers, the yarn width being 4 to 16 mm, the yarn thickness being 0.07 to 0.6 mm, and the ratio of yarn width to yarn thickness being 20 to 150. In the carbon fiber woven fabric, the flat carbon fiber yarn has a yarn width of 4 to 16 mm, a yarn thickness of 0.07 to 0.6 mm, a ratio of yarn width to yarn thickness of 20 to 150, and a ratio of weaving yarn pitch to yarn width of 1.0 to 1.2, the thickness of the woven fabric being 0.1 to 0.6 mm, the weight of woven fabric being 90 to 500 g/m , and the fiber density of woven fabric being 0.8 to 1.2 g/cm . The woven fabric is woven by a weaving apparatus provided with at least a weft supply device or a warp supply device.

The invention relates to a process for producing a fabric by means of a shed course loom having a weaving rotor (6), in which there are at least two spaced shed-forming sections (6a, 6b) on the weaving rotor and the sections (6a, 6b) are supplied with separate weft threads (2a, 3a) supplied only to one section (6a; 6b).

A two-phase weaving air jet loom for parallely weaving two fabrics. The loom is so constructed as to form first and second warp yarn arrays which are separate from each other to define therebetween an intermediate space. First and second weft inserting or air ejection nozzles are disposed near and outside the outside edges of the first and second warp yarn arrays, respectively. The first and second weft inserting nozzles are arranged to project first and second weft yarns into the sheds of the first and second warp yarn arrays, respectively. Additionally, a yarn end portion treating device is provided to treat the end portion (projected over the inside edge of the warp yarn array) of the weft yarn so as to form a selvage and separate the same from a woven cloth.
