摘要: The invention relates to the field of water distribution network, particularly to a method for locating a leak in a water distribution network. The method comprises the steps of: Providing a directed graph that represents the water distribution network (10), the nodes of the graph comprising at least one reservoir-node (N r ), at least one junction-node (N j ), and at least one demand-point-node (N d ).
Providing, under nominal conditions, a nominal reservoir flow (f r ) and a nominal reservoir pressure (p r ), and a nominal demand flow (f d ).
Constructing a calibrated hydraulic model (11).
Computing, for the calibrated hydraulic model (11), a computed nominal junction flow (fm ji ) for each junction-node (N ji ) of the water distribution network (10).
Measuring, a measured reservoir flow (fm r ); and, if, for at least one of the reservoir-nodes (N ri ), the measured reservoir flow (fm ri ) is greater than the nominal reservoir flow (f ri ) plus a first predefined flow (f1 pd ):
measuring a measured next junction flow (fm jk+1 ) of a selected next junction-node (N jk+1 ) in downstream direction, while the measured next junction flow (fm jk+1 ) in the selected branch is greater than the computed next junction flow (f jk+1 ) plus a second predefined flow (f2 pd ).-

摘要: Method for operating a water system (10). The water system (10) comprises a fresh water subsystem (11) being configured to provide fresh water to water consumers (13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19), wherein first water consumers (13, 14) generate black water as waste water, and wherein second water consumers (15, 16, 17, 18, 19) generate grey water as waste water. The water system (10) comprises a waste water subsystem (12) being configured to receive the waste water from the water consumers (13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19). The waste water subsystem (12) comprises a waste water diverter (23) being configured to provide in a black water status of the waste water diverter (23) waste water to a drain (24) thereby treating waste water as black water, and provide in a grey water status of the waste water diverter (23) waste water to a grey water tank (22) thereby treating waste water as grey water. The method comprises the following steps: Detect by a fresh water controller (26) being installed in the fresh water subsystem (11) a fresh water consumption in the fresh water subsystem (11) and provide a respective first output signal to a grey water controller (25). Determine by the grey water controller (25) on basis of the first output signal provided by the fresh water controller (26) a control signal for the waste water diverter (23) to switch the same either into the black water status or into the grey water status.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for operating an on-board water supply and distribution system (1) of an aircraft (3) for supplying water, the system comprising a central water tank (9), a central pump (21), having an upstream side (23) and a downstream side (25) and being capable of conveying and pressurizing water from the upstream side (23) to the downstream side (25), a plurality of consumer assemblies (5), each consumer assembly (5) comprising a supply device (7) and a buffer tank (41), wherein the buffer tank (41) of each of the consumer assemblies (5) comprises a pressurizing device (61) configured for applying a consumer pressure to the water kept in the buffer tank (41), and each consumer assembly (5) being configured to supply water from the buffer tank (41) via the supply device (7), and a high-pressure conduit system (27), wherein the central water tank (9) is connected to the upstream side (23), wherein the high-pressure conduit system (27) connects the downstream side (25) with the plurality of consumer assemblies (5), with the high-pressure conduit system (27) being configured such that the central pump (21), when operating is capable of delivering water from the downstream side to the buffer tank (41) of each of the consumer assemblies (5), the method comprising the following steps: operating the central pump (21) such that water in the high-pressure conduit system (27) is pressurized to a predetermined first pressure; monitoring the pressure in the high-pressure conduit system (27) for a predetermined first period of time; and providing a first failure signal when the pressure in the high-pressure conduit system (27) drops below a predetermined second pressure within the first period of time.
