摘要： A security device for use in association with a security pin includes a tag body, a spring lock and a magnetic lock. The tag body has a body aperture formed therein adapted to receive the security pin. The spring lock is situated within the tag body and has a spring lock aperture formed therein in registration with the body aperture. The spring lock is adapted to engage the security pin when in an engaged position and release the security pin when in a released position. The magnetic lock is within the tag body and has a magnetic lock aperture. The magnetic lock is adapted to engage the security pin when in an engaged position and to release the security pin when in a release position. The spring lock and the magnetic lock need to both be in the released position to successfully remove the security pin form the security device. A detaching device to move the spring lock and the magnetic lock into the released such that they are both in the release position at the same time is also shown.

摘要： An apparatus (fig. 11) for preventing theft of portable equipment like computers is disclosed. The equipment must be provided with a special rectangular slot (fig. 5). An attachment mechanism includes a housing (36) for a spindle (46) having a first portion rotatable within the housing, a shaft (52) extending outwardly from the housing, and a crossmember (54) at the end of the shaft (52) having dimensions conforming to those of the slot. An abutment mechanism (60) also emanates from the housing (36). The combined dimensions of the abutment mechanism (60) and the shaft (52) closely conform to the dimensions of the slot. The crossmember (54) is aligned with the abutment mechanism (60) so that the crossmember (54) can be inserted through the slot with the shaft (52) and the abutment mechanism occupying the slot. The spindle (46) is then rotated 90 degrees to misalign the crossmember (54) with the slot to attach the mechanism. A cable (18) is secured to the housing and to an immovable object.

摘要： The invention relates to a locking arrangement which can be released from its locking state by means of a pressurized fluid, and to a nozzle through which pressurized fluid can be supplied to the locking arrangement to release the same. The locking arrangement includes a latch bolt (6) which is connected to a plunger (5) arranged for axial movement in a chamber (4), the plunger dividing the chamber into two, substantially pressure-tight part chambers (4a, 4b). The plunger (5) is biassed towards its locking position by a spring means (8) and can be moved axially to a lock release position, against the force of the spring means by a pressurized fluid, e.g. compressed air, lead into the one part chamber (4a). To this end, the aforesaid one part chamber (4a) communicates via an opening (12) in a chamber wall (13) with a fore-chamber (14) which is located externally of the chamber (4) and which communicates with the other partchamber (4b) through a second opening (15) in the aforesaid chamber wall (13). The opposite external wall (17) of the fore-chamber (14) is provided with a third through-passing opening (16) which is located opposite the aforesaid second opening (15). The nozzle (18) according to the invention is formed so as to enable it to be inserted into the aforementioned second and third openings (15, 16), so as to seal the same with its outer surfaces. The nozzle (18) has a first, internal channel (27,23,24) through which pressure fluid can be passed into the fore-chamber (14) from a pressure-fluid line connected to the nozzle, and a second, internal channel (20,21) through which the other part chamber (4b) is placed in communication with the surroundings.
