摘要： A surface treatment layer (15) is formed to cover a surface side of a cylinder block (6) including a center hole (7) and a plurality of cylinder holes (8) wholly. The surface treatment layer (15) is constituted by a nitriding layer (17) formed by executing nitride-based heat treatment to a base material (16) of the cylinder block (6) formed using an iron-based material such as cast iron or cast steel and a chemical conversion film (18) of manganese phosphate. The chemical conversion film (18) forms a chemical conversion film of manganese phosphate on a surface side of the nitriding layer (17). The chemical conversion film (18) is excellent in initial fitting properties to a sliding material such as a tapered piston (10). Therefore, wear in a contact section between each of cylinder holes (8) of the cylinder block (6) and the tapered piston (10) can be suppressed.

摘要： The invention concerns a device comprising first and second brake means (16, 20) respectively integral with the first and second element (10, 12) in rotation about an axis of rotation (14), and a brake piston (18) capable of taking up an active braking position to prevent the relative rotation of the two elements and an inoperative position to enable said rotation. Said piston (18) is permanently urged towards its active position by return means (22) and is capable of being displaced towards an inoperative position by fluid supply into a brake release chamber (26). The first and second brake means respectively consist of a first and second series of teeth (16, 20) pertaining to a jaw clutch, the teeth of the first series (16) being integral with the piston (18). The first element (10) and the piston (18) have each a coupling profile (10B, 18B) extending over an axial coupling surface, said coupling profiles forming, viewed in cross-section transverse to the axis of rotation, undulations free from sharp edges, the undulations of the two coupling profiles being capable of fitting into each other to make the piston integral in rotation with the first element.

摘要： A nitriding layer (13) is formed on the front surface side of a base material of a cylinder block (7) including an opening side end surface (7B) and each cylinder hole (12). Then, a piston sliding surface (12A) of each cylinder hole (12) is formed as a compound layer-removed hole (17) by removing a compound layer (16) that is located on the front surface side of the nitriding layer (13) by using polishing means such as, for example, honing and so forth. Further, a compound layer-removed surface (18) is formed on a part (A) where a compound layer-removed hole (17) and a cylinder inlet side tapered surface (12B) of each cylinder hole (12) intersect by using the polishing means such as, for example, the honing and so forth.
