    Abstract: A release valve (20) for a self-priming pump includes a housing, a valve member (68), an exhaust outlet (104), a guide stem (78), a spring (88), and a bellows (90). The valve is positioned in a valve opening (54) in the housing and is movable between an open and a closed position. The open position permits the travel of air and fluid through the opening. The closed position closes the valve opening. The valve plug is positioned in the valve opening responsive to pressure in the flow passageway of the housing. The guide stem is coupled to the valve plug and the spring is coupled to the guide stem. The bellows surrounds the spring.

    Abstract: A fuel tank pressure relief valve for relieving a pressure difference between the interior and the exterior of a fuel tank, comprises first and second sealing surfaces 120, 122 which mate to form a seal between the interior and exterior of the fuel tank; a valve control mechanism; and a venting port 112. The valve control mechanism is configured to: open the seal formed between the first and second sealing surfaces when the interior pressure at the valve control mechanism is above the exterior pressure by more than a first threshold differential pressure; open the seal formed between the first and second sealing surfaces when the interior pressure at the valve control mechanism is lower than the exterior pressure by more than a second threshold differential pressure; and close the seal formed between the first and second sealing surfaces in a closed configuration when the interior pressure at the valve control mechanism is not above the exterior pressure by more than a first threshold differential pressure and is not lower than the exterior pressure by more than a second threshold differential pressure.
