摘要: A motorcycle 1 includes a fuel tank 16, a vehicle body frame 9, a pair of front forks 6, and a canister 31. The fuel tank 16 contains gasoline therein. The vehicle body frame 9 supports the fuel tank 16. The pair of front forks 6 are placed to be spaced apart from each other in a vehicle width direction to support a front wheel 4 from both sides in the vehicle width direction such that the front wheel 4 is rotatable, and mounted to the vehicle body frame 9 such that the pair of front forks 6 are rotatable around a head pipe 10. The canister 31 adsorbs gasoline contained in a gasoline vapor present inside the fuel tank 16 and supplies the gasoline to an engine E. The canister 31 is placed inward in the vehicle width direction relative to the pair of front forks 6 when viewed from a front, and in front of an engine E when viewed from a side.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for checking the tightness of a fuel supply system of a motor vehicle, comprising a volume change element, which is provided in the fuel tank and the volume of which is connected to the environment, while the fuel tank is typically closed off from the environment by means of a valve unit. For tightness testing, a differential pressure with respect to the environment is produced in the tank interior by means of a gas-conveying device while the volume change element is connected to the environment and said differential pressure is held by switching a suitable shut-off valve and is monitored over a certain time span or checked after a certain time span, wherein sufficient tightness of the fuel supply system is inferred if the differential pressure still exceeds a certain threshold value after said time span.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for testing the tightness of a fuel supply system of a motor vehicle, comprising a volume-changing element provided in the fuel tank, the volume of which volume-changing element is in contact with the environment, whereas the fuel tank is customarily sealed off against the environment by means of a valve unit. For testing the tightness, a differential pressure with respect to environment is generated in the tank by means of a gas conveying device, sequentially and thus not simultaneously, the volume-changing element being sealed off against the environment, and the volume changing element not being sealed off against the environment, a differential pressure with respect to environmental pressure is generated in the volume-changing element or in the tank. Said differential pressures are maintained and monitored over a certain period of time, and if after this period of time, the differential pressures still exceed a certain threshold value, a sufficient tightness of the fuel supply system is concluded.

In a face portion facing a bottom portion of the upper float body in the case, an elastic piece is formed by a first arc-shaped split groove such that a center side of the face portion becomes a curvature inner side, and a second arc-shaped split groove formed such that a center of the face portion becomes a curvature inner side outside the first arc-shaped split groove. One portion of the elastic piece abuts against the bottom portion of the upper float body.
