    摘要: The temperature-responsive fluid flow control apparatus of the present invention comprises: a housing installed between the inlet and the outlet of a fluid pipe in which a fluid flows; a valve block installed inside the housing to allow inflow of the flowing fluid in the housing and to discharge a portion of the flowing fluid to the outside according to the change in the internal pressure; and a temperature-responsive device for generating a pressure difference in the valve block according to the temperature change of the temperature-responsive fluid filled therein. The temperature-responsive fluid flow control apparatus prevents the fluid flowing pipe from freezing by discharging a potion of the fluid flowing in the housing to the outside, when the temperature of the temperature-responsive fluid reaches a preset temperature as the external temperature drops.

    摘要: A movable valve body (70) for determining a mixing ratio of hot water and cold water is actuated by using a heat-sensitive coil spring (80) made of a material the spring constant of which changes with temperature, so as to eliminate the deviation of the actual temperature from a target temperature. When the temperature deviation cannot be eliminated by the temperature control by the coil spring (80) alone, it is eliminated by feedback control. A control gain K of this feedback control is determined on the basis of the rate of change in the spring constant in order to prevent hunting, etc. When the temperature deviation is eliminated by the feedback control, the relation between the target temperature and the present load adjustment quantity is stored, and the latter is used when the next target temperature is set. The feedback control is not carried out at the start of tapping or at the time of the change of the target temperature until the temperature deviation becomes smaller than a threshold value (TR1) in order to prevent hot water from being supplied after dead water has been discharged.

    摘要: A fluid level control valve has a base [102] with an aperture [126] formed therein. A cover [120] is slidingly disposed over the aperture [126] and is biased by a thermostatic element [108] in a direction tending to close the aperture [126]. In one embodiment the thermostatic element [108] is an elongated strip having one end captured by tabs projecting from the base, and an opposite end is captured by a bracket formed on the base. The thermostatic element [108] is formed with a V-shaped force imparting portion which is aligned with the cover [120] and the position of the bracket is adjustable to place a selected force on the cover [120] through the thermostatic element [108]. The calibrated valve is then fixedly attached to a housing with the aperture aligned with an aperture in the housing. In another embodiment a U-shaped thermostatic strip has one end mounted on the base with its opposite end biased against the cover.
