    摘要: An object of the present disclosure is to provide a threaded connection for steel pipe with large diameter that can exhibit high torque resistance and high sealability and, at the same time, provide a shear resistance that suits the size of the steel pipe to be connected.
    The threaded connection 1 for steel pipe includes a tubular pin 10 provided on a tip of a steel pipe 2 with large diameter, and a tubular box 20 adapted to be made up on the pin 10 as the pin 10 is screwed in. The pin 10 includes a male threadform 11 made with a taper thread. The box 20 includes a female threadform 21 made with a taper thread. Each of the threadforms 11 and 21 is a wedge threads and has a dovetail-shaped cross section. The male threadform 11 is designed to satisfies the following expressions (1) and (2) such that the width of the thread in an end region of the male threadform closer to the tip is set to a size corresponding to the size of the pipe body of the steel pipe 2. 0.40 ≦ D W + 2 T H 2 − D W 2 × W min OD 2 − ID 2 ≦ 0.60 W min ≥ 3.0 mm

    摘要: In the prior art, only the case where the contact is made on the stabbing flank face 31B is estimated and hence, the prior art has a drawback that when a highly concentrated load acts on the load flank face 30P of the threaded portion on the pin pipe end side, the concentrated load cannot be decreased. In a premium joint, a pitch change is made such that an internally-thread pitch 20B has the same value as an externally-thread pitch 20P from a thread end portion on a box 1 end side to a pitch change position (PCP) taken on a box center side with respect to a position away from the thread end portion by 1/2 of an entire length of the threaded portion, and the internally-thread pitch is changed to a value less than the externally-thread pitch at the pitch change position (PCP) so that a thread gap 10 is gradually decreased from the pitch change position to a position (PCP) of the thread end portion on the box center side, and the thread gap is eventually set to a value which is 0.2 to 0.8 times as large as the thread gap 10 before the pitch change is made.
