Die Erfindung betrifft eine Wandhülse (1) für einen Mauerkasten (100), wobei die Wandhülse (1) eine Öffnung (2)zum Einströmen eines Fluids und eine mit der Öffnung (2) fluidisch verbundene Rohraufnahme (3) aufweist, die dazu eingerichtet ist, ein Rohr (4) aufzunehmen, so dass, wenn ein Rohr (4) in der Rohraufnahme (3) aufgenommen ist, Fluid von der Öffnung (2) in das Rohr (4) einströmen kann, wobei die Wandhülse (1) einen Wandanschlag (5) aufweist, der an einer der Rohraufnahme (3) abgewandten Seite der Wandhülse (1) angeordnet ist, so dass der Wandanschlag (5) eine Einschubtiefe der Wandhülse (1) festlegt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Wandhülse (1) mindestens eine Klemmrippe (6), bevorzugt mindestens drei Klemmrippen (6) aufweist, die an einer Außenseite (7) der Wandhülse (1) angeordnet ist und sich zumindest abschnittsweise entlang der Außenseite (7) erstreckt. Es werden weiterhin ein Mauerkasten und eine Anordnung eines Mauerkastens und einer Wand beschrieben.

Connector assembly and methods usable to block fluid flow therethrough. The connector comprises a female hub having an axial bore, internal threads, and an internal shoulder. The hub is adapted to connect to a fluid container, valve, or conduit and to receive a male connector adapted to block fluid flow through the connector assembly. The male connector comprises external threads and a face comprising a front seal adapted to engage the shoulder. The face comprises a ring-shaped surface adapted to contact the shoulder and form a fluid seal. The face comprises an outer seal that is positioned outwards from the ring-shaped surface and adapted to engage a circumferential surface of the hub. Embodiments of the current invention relate to fluid connectors and methods usable to form a sealed fluid connection between a female connector and a male connector, wherein the male connector comprises an axial bore extending therethrough.
Abstract:
A pipe sealing gasket is shown which is designed to be received within a raceway provided within a socket end of a female bell plastic pipe end which is assembled with a mating male pipe end to form a plastic pipe joint. The raceway in the female bell plastic pipe end is preformed during manufacture and the gasket is installed thereafter. The gasket has a rubber body portion which is reinforced by a hard plastic band formed as a series of integral, spaced wedges which are interconnected by a flexible ribbon. The hard plastic band acts to prevent extrusion of the gasket during a variety of pressure conditions as well as preventing displacement during field assembly.
