摘要: A foot assembly (40) for a weighing scale is provided including a base (80) and an annular ring (82) that is arranged in coaxial spaced relation to the base (80), and supported by a plurality of resilient beams (84) that project radially outwardly from a portion of the base (80). Each of the resilient beams (84) comprises a compound curve contour so that the plurality of resilient beams (84) may twist and/or bend to take up and compensate for unwanted rotational moments or twisting torques that result from placement of the foot assembly (40) on an uneven surface. A weighing scale is also provided incorporating the foregoing foot assemblies (40), and including a platform (12) coupled to a mounting tray (14) and including a weight determination assembly (18) that is positioned between the platform (12) and the mounting tray (14). A plurality of force transfer beams (36, 38) are arranged within the mounting tray (14) so as to substantially support the platform (12) and the mounting tray (14) such that the mounting tray (14) is isolated from a support surface.
