The image strip may be easily disassembled and removed, using a fast anchorage system, making it possible to clean or replace the image strip very quickly, and it is possible to keep constant the pulling force and length of the section of image strip that runs in front of the viewing window, thus ensuring the proper positioning in front of the viewing window and avoiding friction against the running track that includes the viewing window.
The image strip control means are capable of detecting the displacements of the image strip and of ensuring the proper positioning of the images in front of the viewing window.-

摘要： A holder (10) for photographic slides which is normally in a rectilinear condition in which it can be contained in a box. The holder includes a flexible element (12) which has connecting portions (18, 20) at each end thereof. A tongue (28) associated with the portion (18) co-operates with a tongue associated with the portion (20) and the portion (18) co-operates with a flange (34) to secure the holder into the form of a closed loop. A unit (14) is attached to the element (12) and to the portions (18, 20) and forms a series of pockets (54) each of which serves to receive a photographic slide. From the holder (10) the slides are transferred directly to the pockets of a slide magazine for projection. The holder (10), when straight, occupies less space that a rotary projector magazine and is far less expensive to produce.

摘要： Film image display method and apparatus (30) adapted to display image frames on film (10) normally stored in a cartridge in a user selected sequence. The film (10) carries a magnetic recording layer (C₁C₂P₁P₂) and the apparatus is programmed to allow the user to view image frames and hear sound recorded in association with the frames in a pre-determined viewing sequence, that may be user-determined. The viewing sequence is different from the chronological sequence of frames on the film. The apparatus (30) and method also records data on the film (10) which identifies the viewing sequence. Sound may be recorded in association with frames (20) in the viewing sequence during user selection of the viewing sequence. When viewed later, the recorded sequence data is read from the film (10) and used to control the sequence in which the film images are displayed.
