    摘要: There is described a signal conditioner circuit particularly useful in aircraft instrumentation applications for transforming the signals generated by a second harmonic, saturable core, angular transducer 10 into two direct current 1,2 signals containing information giving the angular position of the transducer which signals may be easily recorded and/or further processed to give a direct reading of angular position. The circuit includes two bandpass filters 92,/72 tuned to twice the frequency of the signal exciting the transducer with each coupled to a tap on the transducer winding. The outputs ofthe bandpass filters are detected by sampling them at times lagging the zero-crossings of the exciting signal by approxi- C mately 45 degrees.

    摘要: A multipolar resolver having a substantially cylindrical rotor of magnetic material with A· n rotor poles (12, B 1 -B 10 ) provided equidistantly on the outer periphery thereof, a stator of magnetic material with B n stator poles (P 1 -P 8 ) provided equidistantly along the circumference concentric with the axis of said rotor, and a central coil (15) provided on said stator along substantially the same axis as said rotor axis.
    A, B and n are positive integers and the value of A differs from the value of B by one such that |A-B| = 1.
    In order to provide a multipolar resolver which requires no coils on the rotor and which permits an increase in the number of poles of the resolver without a corresponding increase in complexity and manufacturing cost, sine and cosine coils (16, S 1 -S 4 ; 17, C 1 -C 4 ) are wound alternately on circumferentially successive ones of the stator poles (P 2 , P 4 , P 6 , P e ; P 1 , P 3 , P 5 , P 7 ). Circumferentially successive ones of the sine coils (16, S 1 -S 4 ) are connected in series with each other and are wound in opposite directions of winding alternately and circumferentially successive ones of said cosine coils (17, C 1 -C 4 ) are connected in series with each other and wound in opposite directions of winding alternately.

    摘要: An air-core gauge comprising two coils (X, Y) has a driving system with switches (Sc, Sx, Sy) on the junction terminal (Tc) and end terminals (Tx, Ty) of the two coils, and a drive circuit (D) controlling the switches so that each terminal is selectively at ground or +V, with one terminal being connected alternately to the two signal levels (ground, +V) with variable duty cycle depending upon the angle through which the pointer of the gauge is to be turned. For any given angle, one terminal is held at ground, another at +V and the third is alternated with appropriate duty cycle. Any angle of pointer deflection from 0 - 360° can be achieved with just the two voltage levels (ground, +V) and calculating the duty cycle from an appropriate function of tan ϑ values for ϑ in the range 0 - 45°.
