摘要: An electronic device (10) includes a system circuit (110), a power connector (120), a path selection circuit (131), a plurality of battery connectors (140; 141, 143), a plurality of series circuits (133; 133A, 133B), and a control circuit (160). The power connector (120) is suitable for receiving power (Ipo). The path selection circuit (131) is coupled to the system circuit (110) and the power connector (120). The battery connectors (140; 141, 143) are respectively suitable for coupling a plurality of batteries (Bat; BatA, BatB). The series circuits (133; 133A, 133B) respectively correspond to the battery connectors (140; 141, 143), and each series circuit (133; 133A; 133B) is connected between the corresponding battery connector (140; 141, 143) and the path selection circuit (131). Each series circuit (133; 133A; 133B) includes: a charging switch (SWc), a battery switch (SWb) and a discharging path (PTd). In a sequential discharge mode, the control circuit (160) controls the series circuits (133; 133A, 133B) to turn on the battery switch (SWb) thereof in turn and controls the path selection circuit (131) to connect the series circuits (133; 133A, 133B) to the system circuit. The remaining battery switches (SWb) and all charging switches (SWc) remain off.

An example apparatus for audio fingerprinting includes a frequency range separator to transform an audio signal into a frequency domain, the transformed audio signal including a plurality of time-frequency bins including a first time-frequency bin, an audio characteristic determiner to determine a first characteristic of a first group of time-frequency bins of the plurality of time-frequency bins, the first group of time-frequency bins surrounding the first time-frequency bin and a signal normalizer to normalize the audio signal to thereby generate normalized energy values, the normalizing of the audio signal including normalizing the first time-frequency bin by the first characteristic. The example apparatus further includes a point selector to select one of the normalized energy values and a fingerprint generator to generate a fingerprint of the audio signal using the selected one of the normalized energy values.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a device and method for reducing quantization noise in a signal contained in a time-domain excitation decoded by a time-domain decoder. The decoded time-domain excitation is converted into a frequency-domain excitation. A weighting mask is produced for retrieving spectral information lost in the quantization noise. The frequency-domain excitation is modified to increase spectral dynamics by application of the weighting mask. The modified frequency-domain excitation is converted into a modified time-domain excitation. The method and device can be used for improving music content rendering of linear-prediction (LP) based codecs. Optionally, a synthesis of the decoded time-domain excitation may be classified into one of a first set of excitation categories and a second set of excitation categories, the second set including INACTIVE or UNVOICED categories, the first set including an OTHER category.

摘要: A stereo sound signal encoding method and system for time domain down mixing right and left channels of an input stereo sound signal into primary and secondary channels, determine normalised correlations of the left channel and right channel in relation to a monophonic signal version of the sound. A long-term correlation difference is determined on the basis of the normalised correlation of the left channel and the normalised correlation of the right channel. The long-term correlation difference is converted into a factor /3, and the left and right channels are mixed to produce the primary and secondary channels using the factor β , wherein the factor β determines respective contributions of the left and right channels upon production of the primary and secondary channels.

摘要: System and method embodiments are provided for very short pitch detection and coding for speech or audio signals. The system and method include detecting whether there is a very short pitch lag in a speech or audio signal that is shorter than a conventional minimum pitch limitation using a combination of time domain and frequency domain pitch detection techniques. The pitch detection techniques include using pitch correlations in time domain and detecting a lack of low frequency energy in the speech or audio signal in frequency domain. The detected very short pitch lag is coded using a pitch range from a predetermined minimum very short pitch limitation that is smaller than the conventional minimum pitch limitation.
