    摘要: A switch (1200) as for a flashlight (10) selectively connects, for example, a solid state light source (100) and a battery (60) in the flashlight (10) in circuit for causing the light source (100) to produce light. The switch (1200) comprises a pushbutton (1210) and a metal contact (1220) having a periphery that selectively contacts a housing (20), and a spring (1226). Pressing the pushbutton (1210) moves the pushbutton (1210) and the metal contact (1220) to contact the housing (20). The metal contact (1220) may include a feature for centering the metal contact (1220) with respect to the pushbutton (1210) and thus with respect to the housing (20). The switch (1200) may be disposed in a tail cap (40) attached to a flashlight housing (20).

An electrical switch (30) has a hollow dielectric body (32) with opposed sidewall and bottom surfaces. A lock member (80) has a base (82) and a pair of upstanding posts (96, 98) also forming a switch-receiving cavity. The switch is secured in a stationary position with the locking member (80) and trigger button (70) disposed about the switch for camming action therewith, which includes an unlocked position where the switch is de-energized, and an innerlocked position where the switch is constantly energized. By depressing the trigger button, the lock mechanism is free to disengage under the force of a return spring (92).

    摘要: A switch assembly is disclosed having a switch with an actuator moveable from an armed position to a disarmed position. A housing is attached to the switch and contains a cam that holds the switch actuator in the armed position. A trigger makes contact with the cam causing it to rotate within the housing and allowing the actuator to extend to move to a disarmed position. In some variants the cam can be shaped to prevent manually rotation against the bias force of the actuator in the disarmed position. The switch assembly can be positioned on an aircraft landing gear to detect an over-steer occurrence where the landing gear may become damaged. The state of the switch can be visibly or audibly indicated by an indicator in the aircraft cockpit or other location visible/audible to the ground operators.
