    a plurality of hydraulic interconnection and distribution devices (40) each of which can connect the outlet (21b) of the hydraulic connector (21) of a support element (20) to the inlet openings (47) of the cells (58) of the batteries (B) of a row (R), and
    a plurality of electrolyte-dispensing devices (60) which are disposed in fixed locations along the conveyor (2) and each of which, upon each stoppage of the conveyor, can be connected to the inlet (21a) of the hydraulic connector (21) of a corresponding support element (20) of the conveyor (2).

    摘要: A method of electrochemically forming battery plate stock. Spaces are provided between portions of the battery stock which may be in coil form (13) and have gaps (14) between adjacent wraps. Forming is preferably accomplished in a forming tank with a forming element such as an electrode (17) or coil (13D) of opposite polarity being positioned in spaced relationship with respect to the edge of the battery plate stock. The battery plate stock (13) is subsequently severed into individual battery plates.
