    摘要： The invention relates to an XLR cable connector comprising a sliding element (2) which enables the XLR cable connector to act either as a plug or a socket by sliding between a retracted end position and a projecting end position. Said sliding element comprises a first, second, third and fourth channel (3, 4, 5, 6). The XLR cable connector comprises a first, second and third contact pin (9, 10, 11) received by the first, second and third channels (3, 4, 5) of the sliding element (2). In the retracted end position of the sliding element (2), said contact pins (9, 10, 11) protrude out of the front side (7) of the sliding element (2) on the plug-in side, and the XLR cable connector can be plugged into contact tubes (20) of a socket (21) by means of its contact pins (9, 10, 11), and in the projecting end position of the sliding element (2), said contact pins (9, 10, 11) are retracted into the channels (3, 4, 5) of the sliding element (2) and the free ends (12) of the contact pins (9, 10, 11) become sections of the channels (3, 4, 5) on the plug-in side. The XLR cable connector also comprises a first, second, and third socket contact (15, 16, 17), the first and second socket contacts (15, 16) being arranged in the first and second channels (3, 4) and the third socket contact (17) being arranged in the fourth channel (6).
