摘要: Disclosed is an image data encoding/decoding method and apparatus. A method for decoding a 360-degree image comprises the steps of: receiving a bitstream obtained by encoding a 360-degree image; generating a prediction image by making reference to syntax information obtained from the received bitstream; combining the generated prediction image with a residual image obtained by dequantizing and inverse-transforming the bitstream, so as to obtain a decoded image; and reconstructing the decoded image into a 360-degree image according to a projection format. Here, the step of generating the prediction image comprises the steps of: obtaining, from motion information included in the syntax information, a motion vector candidate group including a motion vector of a block adjacent to a current block to be decoded; deriving a prediction motion vector from the motion vector candidate group, on the basis of selection information extracted from the motion information; and determining a prediction block for the current block to be decoded, using a fmal motion vector derived by adding the prediction motion vector to a differential motion vector extracted from the motion information.

摘要: The present application relates to bi-directional motion-compensated based predicting method of a block of a video picture. Two reference blocks in reference pictures in two distinct lists of reference pictures are determined for motion-compensation. The method determines if samples of a reference block is outside boundaries of a reference picture and in that case, determines a non-out-of-bound rectangular zone comprising at least one sample within said reference picture's boundaries and replaces said at least one sample that is outside the non-out-of-bound rectangular zone by corresponding samples of the other reference block which are within the other reference picture' boundaries.

摘要: The present technique relates to a decoding device and a decoding method, and an encoding device and an encoding method, capable of performing encoding and decoding independently in the time direction for each tile. A decoding unit generates a prediction image by performing, for each of tiles, motion compensation of a reference image within a co-located tile based on tile splittable information indicating that decoding is allowed for each of the tiles and motion vector information representing a motion vector used for generating encoded data of a decoding target current image when a picture of the current image is split into the tiles and decoded. The decoding unit decodes the encoded data using the prediction image. The present technique is applicable to a decoding device, for example.
