摘要: Implementations set forth herein relate to using fiducial markings on one or more localized portions of an agricultural apparatus in order to generate local and regional data that can be correlated for planning and executing agricultural maintenance. An array of fiducial markings can be disposed onto plastic mulch that surrounds individual crops, in order that each fiducial marking of the array can operate as a signature for each individual crop. Crop data, such as health and yield, corresponding to a particular crop can then be stored in association with a corresponding fiducial marking, thereby allowing the certain data for the particular crop to be tracked and analyzed. Furthermore, autonomous agricultural devices can rely on the crop data, over other sources of data, such as GPS satellites, thereby allowing the autonomous agricultural devices to be more reliable.

摘要: The invention is related to the technical field of mechanical and electrical engineering with application in agriculture. The invention concerns a robotic end-effector tool that can simultaneously cut and hold fruits/branches with adaptive manner. It is a cutting and holding mechanism (CUHOM) consisting of suitably shaped fingers (FI) and bars (BA) attached to the fingers through springs of suitable stiffness (SP), creating two finger elements (FB) and a cutting pair of scissors (SC) attached to the finger elements (FB). The CUHOM holds the object with the finger elements (FB), and gradually closes the pair of scissors that cuts the object, without opening the finger elements (FB) so that the object is cut and removed/collected safely. The design of the system allows holding and cutting even short objects. The previous tasks are driven by a single drive system. The original construction is intended to help automate viticultural practices, such as harvesting.

The output data comprise at least one of the following: media data comprising at least one of video data and audio data indicative of the first crop plant characteristics for the first subpart of the crop plant (1) provided in the first three dimensional segment; and operation control data indicative of operation control signals for controlling operating of an agricultural machine working on the crop plant (1), the operation control signals comprising first operation control signals determined from the first crop plant characteristics and configured to control operation of the agricultural machine for applying an agricultural treatment to the first subpart of the crop plant (1). Further, a method for controlling operation of an agricultural machine, an agricultural machine, and a computer program product are provided.
