The apparatus includes a steam-recovery device, configured to discharge the steam contained in the mixing chamber (3) above the product to be infused and to inject said steam into the carafe (2) without said steam passing through the product to be infused. The apparatus (1) according to the invention makes it possible to improve the quality of the infused beverage, in terms of both the flavour and the tasting temperature thereof.
