摘要: A method of mitigating arcing events in a hot wire process is provided. The method includes monitoring an arcing frequency of a hot wire process and monitoring at least one of an energy, a power, a deposition amount, or a deposition rate of the hot wire process. The method further includes adjusting at least one of a hot wire current, a hot wire voltage, a hot wire waveform characteristic, a wire feed speed, a wire approach angle, or a contact tip-to-work distance of the hot wire process to balance the arcing frequency against at least one of the energy, the power, the deposition amount, or the deposition rate of the hot wire process, where it is desirable for the arcing frequency to be low, and where it is desirable for the energy, the power, the deposition amount, or the deposition rate to be high.

摘要: In a laser welding method for welding a first metal member (11) and a second metal member (12), a first wobbling process (ST1) is carried out in which a first laser beam is directed in a first scanning pattern (P1) along a butt-joining line (13) and a first welded part (21) is formed. A second wobbling process (ST2) is subsequently performed in which a second laser beam is directed in a second scanning pattern (P2) along the surface of the first welded part (21) formed through the first wobbling process (ST1) and a second welded part (22) that is wider and shallower than the first welded part (21) is formed overlapping the first welded part (21). A welded part (20) in which delayed cracking can be prevented or suppressed is thus formed.

摘要: Laser beam system for continuous treatment of a laminar material at increasing speeds and constant quality and adjusting method thereof, the method comprising defining treatment parameters of a treatment to be applied with a laser beam on a selected laminar material, including shape and distribution pattern of the treatment and intensity and/or depth thereof, calculating initial emission parameters of each laser beam emitter to reproduce the treatment parameters, considering at least stored data, calculating velocity adjusted emission parameters of each laser beam emitter adjusting the previously calculated initial emission parameters by a stored dynamic adjustment algorithm; and accelerating the web of the selected flexible laminate from the initial treatment velocity to the final treatment velocity while each laser beam emitter emits a laser beam applying the treatment to the laminar material using the velocity adjusted emission parameters in coordination with the displacement velocity of the web.

摘要: The present invention provides a laser welding device, which performs welding of an electrode lead and an electrode tab by irradiating laser so that the laser sequentially passes through an opening hole of a base plate and an opening hole of an upper mask when the electrode lead and the electrode tab are seated on a lower mask in a state in which a laser irradiator, the base plate, and the upper mask are coupled to each other, the laser welding device including: the base plate provided with a coupling tool that protrudes from one surface thereof; and the upper mask provided with a coupling hole through which the coupling tool enters and coupled to the base plate by coupling the coupling tool to the coupling hole, wherein the coupling tool comprises a cylinder which has a hollow shape therein in a longitudinal direction and in which an air hole is punched, a piston which is capable of being slid inside the cylinder in a state of being coupled to a spring and has a section of which a diameter is reduced toward one side thereof, and a ball coupled to the cylinder, and wherein, when the coupling tool enters the inside of the coupling hole, the ball enters a groove formed in an inner circumferential surface of the coupling hole by the piston so as to be prevented from being separated, and when air is injected into the air hole, the piston is slid to separate the ball from the groove.
