摘要: A dual tire buffing apparatus includes a turntable having a first end and an opposite second end. The turntable is rotatable about a central axis between first and second positions. A first expandable hub is rotatably coupled to the turntable proximate the first end. The first expandable hub is configured to receive a first tire casing. A second expandable hub is rotatably coupled to the turntable proximate the second end. The second expandable hub is configured to receive a second tire casing. A rasp head is positioned to operatively engage the first tire casing on the first expandable hub when the turntable is in the first position to perform a buffing operation on the first tire casing, and to operatively engage the second tire casing on the second expandable hub when the turntable is in the second position to perform a buffing operation on the second tire casing.

摘要: A method for producing a retreaded tire 2 includes a step of shaving a tread 104 from a tire 102, a step of attaching a tag member 30 to a formed surface BD made by shaving the tread 104, and a step of reconstructing a new tread 4. The formed surface BD is located radially outward of a maximum width position of the tire 2. The tag member 30 is located radially inward of an end of a belt 14. An initial vulcanization time t10 of a rubber composition for a protector 34 of the tag member 30 is shorter than an initial vulcanization time 110 of a rubber composition for the new tread 4.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a method for improving a cement spraying efficiency for a self-repairing tire. The method includes: inputting tire parameters into a control system, including rim diameter, section width, aspect ratio, cement thickness and cement density; calculating a cement spraying amount for a tire; calculating a crown cement thickness separately; starting a spraying device, and evenly spraying a cement in a cement storage tank on a tire surface; and finally drying, that is, heating to speed up solidification of the cement, thereby completing self-repair. In the present disclosure, the control system automatically calculates the cement spraying amount required for repair based on the tire parameters such as section width, aspect ratio and rim diameter, and realizes mass production of self-repairing tires according to the characteristics of the tires. The present disclosure is applicable to all tires of different specifications, and can realize a one-time spraying operation, thereby improving the spraying efficiency for self-repairing tires. The present disclosure solves the problems of low production efficiency, low automation level and poor quality control of self-repairing tires, facilitating the large-scale production of self-repairing tires.
