    摘要: The invention relates to a method for controlling a display device of a vehicle, a medium and a display device, which relates to a field of vehicle technologies. The display device is configured to acquire data information sent by an external terminal by communicating with the external terminal. The method includes: acquiring a driving parameter collected by the vehicle; determining a target display mode and a target display content based on the driving parameter, wherein the target display mode comprises at least one of a projection display mode or a screen display mode; and displaying the target display content based on the target display mode. In this way, the driver may not only view vehicle information without looking down at the central control panel or the instrument panel, but also assist the driver in driving the vehicle better by dynamically adjusting the display mode and the display content.

It specifies particularly how a new combination of already existing user interface methods and devices can be used to improve the user experience. The external control device according the invention comprises a housing (1) with at least one rotary encoder (5), at least one display (6), at least one shortcut button (1, 2, 3, 4), a control unit with a control logic module, a power module. Each shortcut button (1, 2, 3, 4) activates a pre-configured feature of the vehicle when pressed. Once a feature is selected by a shortcut button, the rotary encoder (5) allows the user to adjust the selected feature by clockwise and counterclockwise rotation.
