The present application discloses a polyester material, a polyester product as well as a preparation method and use thereof. The preparation method comprises: reacting a dibasic acid and/or a dibasic acid ester compound, diol, a two-dimensional MXene material catalyst, a second catalyst and a stabilizer to prepare the polyester material; or performing melt blending on a polyester, a two-dimensional MXene material and an additive to prepare the polyester material. According to the present application, by adding the two-dimensional MXene material as a catalyst and a nucleating agent in the process of preparing the polyester, the two-dimensional MXene material not only functions as a high-activity catalyst, but also significantly promotes the crystallization rate of the polyester as an efficient nucleating agent; or, the two-dimensional MXene material is blended into the polyester so that the MXene material is better distributed in the polyester while the obtained polyester material has high heat resistance, quick crystallization, and excellent mechanical property and impact resistance, and can be widely applied to the fields such as engineering plastics, optical films, industrial silk and food packaging materials.

The present invention aims to provide a crystalline polyester resin which satisfies both of a high melting point and a high fluidity, and a flame-retardant sealing resin composition using the same. A crystalline polyester resin (A) containing polycarboxylic acid components and polyhydric alcohol components as copolymerizing components, characterized in that a copolymerizing rate of a 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid component is from 40 to 100 molar % when a total of the polycarboxylic acid components in the crystalline polyester resin (A) is taken as 100 molar %, that a 1,4-butanediol component is copolymerized as a polyhydric alcohol component, and that a copolymerizing rate of the 1,4-butanediol component is 40 molar % or less when a total of the polyhydric alcohol components is taken as 100 molar %.

The object of the present invention is to provide a highly crystalline polyethylene-2,6-naphthalate composition by achieving high molecular weight of PEN, wherein the polyethylene-2,6-naphthalate composition has greatly improved blow moldability and provides molded products having excellent hue, excellent weathering resistance, and additionally excellent transparency. [Solution] A Laminated polyester film which comprises a substrate polyester film (layer S) with at least one surface being laminated with a lamination layer (layer C) comprising a polyester resin as a primary component, the surface of the lamination layer (layer C) having a wetting tension of 35-45 mN/m and the polyester resin contained in the lamination layer (layer C) meeting the following requirements (a) to (c). (a) The lamination layer (layer C) contains polyesters (A) having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 110-140°C and polyesters (B) having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 40-90°C. (b) At least either polyesters (A) or polyesters (B) contains both a monomer having a sulfonic acid component and a monomer having a multivalent, i.e., tri- or higher-valent, carboxylic acid component, and (c) The mixing ratio between polyesters (A) and polyesters (B) is from 10/90 to 60/40.

The present invention relates to a process for preparing polyethylene naphthalate, comprising the steps of: esterifying 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid and ethylene glycol, or glycols using the two materials as major material to obtain prepolymer which comprises bis(beta-hydroxyethyl)naphthalate or low polymer as main material and performing polycondensation reaction to thereby prepare polyethylene naphthalate. The process of the present invention has advantages of: enabling esterification with a low molar ratio of ethylene glycol to reduce reaction time, thereby increasing process efficiency; minimizing formation of side reaction products to improve properties; and preventing deterioration of the products by performing polycondensation at a low temperature to thereby obtain polyethylenenaphthalate polymers of high quality.

Compositions containing reinforcing agents, especially fibrous or platy reinforcing agents are particularly useful.
