摘要: A clutch system comprises a hydraulic control circuit for controlling a hydraulic system. The method converts the target hydraulic pressure into motor speed control commands and into motor direct current commands by implementing a linear quadratic regulator (LQR) calculation while carrying out a closed loop speed control. The method controls the electric motor using the motor direct current commands. And, the method controls the pressure control valve by using the pressure control valve commands.

摘要: In one embodiment, a pneumatic power-supply assembly includes a refillable chamber having an interior capable for holding a pressurized fluid, a vent, and a fluid inlet. A pressure release mechanism within the chamber permits the pressure within the chamber to vent, when the pressure exceeds a predetermined optimum pressure. A pneumatic motor is mounted within the chamber and includes an inlet in fluid communication with the interior of the chamber. The pneumatic motor utilizes the pressurized fluid wihin the interior of the chamber to drive a gear rotatably attached to the pneumatic motor. In addition, the gear rotates an axle rotatably attached to the chamber such that the when the assembly is attached to a pneumatic operated device the rotatable axle may be used by the pneumatically operated device. In addition, a external pump is attached to the fluid inlet to continually recharge the chamber.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a limited-slip clutch system and method. In one aspect, the limited-slip clutch actuation system can include a hydraulic pump operated by a variable speed drive wherein the pump can be configured to generate hydraulic flow in a hydraulic circuit including an actuation branch line that actuates a clutch. The circuit may also include a flow regulating valve for regulating a hydraulic fluid flow rate through the hydraulic circuit wherein the flow regulating valve can be configured to prevent the hydraulic fluid flow rate from exceeding a set maximum flow rate regardless of a magnitude of the hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic circuit. In operation, the pump speed can be controlled based on a command pressure set point and the measured pressure in the actuation branch line and to minimize operational costs by operating the pump at a transition region of the system pressure-pump speed curve.

In one exemplary embodiment, an ROV establishes a backup hydraulic flow to a BOP function by attaching one end of a hose to a modular valve block and the other end to an intervention shuttle valve, thus circumventing and isolating malfunctioning components. A compound intervention shuttle valve is provided that comprises first and second primary inlets, first and second secondary inlets, and an outlet. A modular valve block is provided that comprises a directional control valve, a pilot valve, a manifold pressure regulator, a pilot pressure regulator, stab type hydraulic connections and an electrical wet-make connection.
