    摘要: A V-belt for high load power transmission produces less noise when it runs and has blocks with increased impact resistance. The V-belt (B) includes at least one tension belt (10) endlessly extending in a ring shape and also includes the blocks (20) engaged and fixed to place at predetermined pitches in the longitudinal direction of the tension belt (10). The blocks (20) each have contact surfaces (30) located at opposite ends in the lateral direction of the V-belt and coming into contact with a pulley. On the opposite ends of each block (20), there are tilt surface (31) formed to continue from the contact surfaces (30) to the inner peripheral side of the V-belt and tilting relative to the contact surfaces (30) toward the center in the lateral direction of the V-belt. The angle of each tilt surface (31) relative to a corresponding contact surface (30) is set not less than 120 degrees but not more than 140 degrees.
