    摘要: Techniques for improving performance of a transformer shared amongst a plurality of operating modes. In an aspect, first and second primary windings of a transformer are coupled to an AC ground voltage. Primary windings are mutually coupled to a secondary winding of the transformer. To render the second primary winding inactive, e.g., when operating in a first mode, a switch coupling the second primary winding to the common reference voltage is opened. Similarly, when it is desired to render the first primary winding inactive, e.g., when operating in a second mode, a switch coupling the first primary winding to the common reference voltage is opened. In this manner, the inactive primary winding advantageously does not load the secondary winding. Further aspects provide for, e.g., extending the techniques to more than two modes, and alternative techniques to mutually couple the signal from the primary to the secondary winding.

The method interchanges charge between the charge storage device and a first first-node of the plurality of first-nodes through an inductive section (22), and, when a predetermined charge has been interchanged between the charge storage device and the first first-node, replacing the first first-node by a second first-node of the plurality of first-nodes. Charge is interchanged between the charge storage device and the second first-node through the inductive section. Preferably, the ratio of the charge interchanged between the charge storage device and the first first-node and the charge interchanged between the charge storage device and the second first-node is equal to a ratio of the currents drawn from the first first-node and the second first-node. Charge can also be interchanged between the charge storage device and a second power terminal (12) using a similar method.

    摘要: The invention relates to a current detector using a magnetic balance system and method of manufacturing same. A plurality of taps N, N-1, N-2, N+1, and N+2 are connected to the output side of the secondary coil, and provided on the winding side of a secondary coil in winding device including a bobbin 120 and PCB 130 at prescribed intervals. The taps respectively correspond to different numbers of turns. Connector sections 200N, 200N-1, 200N-2, 200N+1, and 200N+2 as a tap switching devise is provided. When the tap N is selected to be used, and the connector sections 200N-1, 200N-2, 200N+1, and 200N+2 corresponding to the other taps N-1, N-2, N+1, and N+2 are cut by laser-trimming and electrically disconnected, thereby altering the number of turns of the secondary coil and adjusting the accuracy. Further minute accuracy adjustment is performed by cutting a trimming resistance 203N common to all the taps by laser-trimming.

    摘要: An induction controlled voltage regulator, primarily for high-voltage regulation, includes a magnetic circuit based upon a core (1) having one or more flux paths or legs (2) surrounded by high and low voltage windings (3, 15). The leg (2) is divided in at least two branches (2A, 2B), at least one (2B) of which includes a regulation arrangement with a zone (5) of amendable permeability. The amendment of the permeability may be made by a magnetic rod (4) being movable into and out from the zone (5) formed as an airgap. Another embodiment for such an amendment includes the use of a regulator winding acting on the magnetic flux passing through the leg branch (2B). A compensator winding can be arranged around the leg branch (2B) involving the zone (5) of amendable permeability. The compensator winding is electrically connected in series with capacitor means. At least one of the windings is wound by a high-voltage cable comprising a conductor surrounded by an inner semiconductor, an insulator layer and an outer semiconductor.
