摘要: Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology exploits modulated coded impulses over a wide frequency spectrum with very low power over a short distance for digital data transmission. Today's leading edge modulated sinusoidal wave wireless communication standards and systems achieve power efficiencies of 50nJ / bit employing narrowband signaling schemes and traditional RF transceiver architectures. However, such designs severely limit the achievable energy efficiency, especially at lower data rates such as below 1 Mbps. Further, it is important that peak power consumption is supportable by common battery or energy harvesting technologies and long term power consumption neither leads to limited battery lifetimes or an inability for alternate energy sources to sustain them. Accordingly, it would be beneficial for next generation applications to exploit inventive transceiver structures and communication schemes in order to achieve the sub nJ per bit energy efficiencies required by next generation applications.

摘要: Disclosed herein are an electronic device and a method of operating the electronic device, according to various embodiments. The electronic device includes: a communication circuit configured to transmit and/or receive a plurality of packets to an external electronic device; and a processor, wherein the processor may determine whether to operate in a time average specific absorption rate (TAS) mode of the communication circuit upon detecting that an external object is in contact with or in proximity to the electronic device, and increase a latency between at least some packets of the plurality of packets based on a value associated with quality of a signal transmitted by the external electronic device satisfying a specified condition while the communication circuit is operating in the TAS mode, and wherein the processor may be configured to control the communication circuit to increase a strength of a signal that includes a plurality of packets having the increased latency. Various other embodiments are possible.

The support portion supports at least one region of the flexible display when the electronic device is in an unfolded state, and is spaced apart from the flexible display as the electronic device rotates from the unfolded state to a folded state.
