    [Solution]
    The information transmission system includes: an information source station 2 that holds transmission information to be transmitted to a destination station 3; and movable bodies 4 that are movable and relay the transmission information held by the information source station 2 to the destination station 3. The movable bodies 4 include: a first movable body 4a that receives the transmission information from the information source station 2 at a close position by wireless communication in a millimeter wave band and temporarily stores the transmission information; and a second movable body 4b that temporarily stores the transmission information relayed from the first movable body 4a. The first movable body 4a or the second movable body 4b transmits the temporarily stored transmission information to the destination station 3 at a close position by the wireless communication in the millimeter wave band. The information source station 2, the destination station 3, and the movable bodies 4 mutually transmit and receive guide information to guide the movable body 4 to a close position of the information source station 2 or a close position of the destination station 3 for the wireless communication of the transmission information in the millimeter wave band through a microwave band.
