PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detector capable of preventing infiltration of liquid into the inside part while keeping a simple configuration for suppressing complication of a manufacturing process, and a manufacturing method of the same.SOLUTION: A housing 20 of a liquid level detector 100 is configured by an inner case 21 having a first wall part 25, a terminal 35 having a protrusion part 36 which penetrates the first wall part 25 and protrudes to the outside of the inner case 21, and the like. The first wall part 25 and the protrusion part 36 are covered by a covering part 33, and a first seal film 40 which connects a side surface 36c of the protrusion part 36 and the first wall part 25 is formed in the covering part 33. Also, the film thickness of the first seal film 40 on a ridge line 39 of the terminal 35 increases toward the first wall part 25.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detection device capable of arbitrarily setting the rotatable range of a magnet holder in association with the shape of a fuel tank while maintaining the shape of a core component.SOLUTION: A liquid level detection device 100 includes: a fuel sender 10 for detecting the height of the liquid level of fuel; and a holder plate 30 to which the sender 10 is attached. The fuel sender 10 includes: a rotating float arm 56 and magnet holder 50; and a body 40 for supporting the magnet holder 50 in a rotatable manner. Also, the float arm 56 is formed with an arm contact part 57, and the body 40 is formed with a wide-angle stopper surface 46a. The contact of the arm contact part 57 and the wide-angle stopper surface 46a is prevented by an intermediate section 58 of the float arm 56 coming into contact with the holder stopper part 36 of the holder plate 30.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detection device which is excellent in mounting workability on a sub tank while contributing to an increase in the capacity of the sub tank.SOLUTION: A liquid level detection device 100 is mounted on a mounting part 35 of a hollow part 34 obtained by hollowing out a peripheral wall 33 of a sub tank 30 by being relatively displaced in a mounting direction AD regulated in advance. The liquid level detection device 100 includes a Hall IC 60 for detecting the height of a fuel liquid level 91a, a housing 40 having an extension wall 43 located at a side opposite from the mounting direction AD with respect to the Hall IC 60 to extend in an extension direction ED and stored in the hollow part 34, an auxiliary extension wall 44 formed integrally with the extension wall 43 to extend from the extension wall 43 in a separation direction SD separating from a hollow bottom wall part 34c, and a rib part 45 projecting toward a direction opposite from the mounting direction AD from an end 44a of the auxiliary extension wall 44 in the separation direction SD.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach a liquid-level detector to a fuel tank as a unitary body with a fuel supply pump without attaching work such as screw tightening. SOLUTION: In this attaching structure, a protruding member 4, a holding piece 8 for holding an attaching surface 3a and a plurality of pawls 10a are provided as the first engaging means at a body 5 of a liquid-level detector, and a groove 6 and receiving parts 10b are provided as the second engaging means at the attaching surface 3a of an attaching member 3. Furthermore, the thickness of the protruding member 4 in the direction of the groove 6 is set so that the width is equal to or slightly larger than the width of the groove 6. The interval between the holding piece 8 and the contact surface is set so that the interval is equal to or slightly smaller than the plate width of the attaching surface 3a. Thereafter, when the protruding member 4 is inserted into the groove 6, the body 5 and the attaching member 3 are elastically coupled and engaged. Thus, the secure attachment is obtained so that looseness, deviation and disengagement can be prevented when large vibration occurs.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detection module capable of generating moderation feeling and reducing backlash of a liquid level detector after the completion of assembly.SOLUTION: A liquid level detection module includes: a fuel sender for detecting the height of a liquid level of a fuel; and a holder plate 30 in which this sender is assembled. A body 40 of the fuel sender is held at the plate 30 by a slide to an insertion direction ID from a half-assembled state in which a facing surface is brought into contact with the holder plate 30. On the other hand, the holder plate 30 has a plurality of locking claws for locking the body 40 and a protrusion 35 accommodated in a recess 46 of the body 40 in a half-assembled state. When the body 40 slides in the insertion direction ID, the protrusion 35 rides over a peripheral wall 47 facing the recess 46. Thereby, the body 40 is pressed against each locking claw by the protrusion 35.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a liquid level detector capable of suppressing the increase of costs and releasing the charge of a conductive arm to the outside. SOLUTION: In a mounting structure of a liquid level detector 10 to a mounted member 20, the liquid detector 10 includes: a main part 15; a float floating on a liquid; a rotation part 13 rotatable with respect to the main part 15; and a conductive arm 12 which connects the float and the rotating unit 13 to convert the vertical motion of the float into the rotational motion of the rotating unit 13. The mounted member 20 includes a conductive part 25 which is conductive and is grounded, and has a structure in which an end part 121 of the arm 12 on the rotation part 13 side is grounded to the conductive part 25 with the liquid level detector 10 attached to the mounted member 20. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detector including a seal film capable of exhibiting a high liquid-tight property.SOLUTION: A plurality of terminals 35a to 35c are buried in a liquid level detector 100. A seal film 80 is formed between the terminal 35c and a coating 33 covering them. A side surface groove 41 having a V-shaped cross-section is formed in an area covered with the seal film 80, of the terminal 35c. The side surface groove 41 extends from a ridge part 46a formed between a first wall surface 40a and a second wall surface 40b of the terminal 35c, in a circumferential direction of the terminal 35c. Further, the terminal 35c is provided with two second slopes 42a and 42b connecting an area covered with the seal film, of the second wall surface 40b and two first slopes 41a and 41b of the side surface groove 41 respectively. A boundary part 42c formed by contact between the two second slopes 42a and 42b is continuous to a bottom 41c of the side surface groove 41.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detection module capable of avoiding breakage of a liquid level detector when assembled to a container of a fuel tank or the like.SOLUTION: A fuel sender 10 includes a magnet holder 50 to be rotated following a liquid level of fuel, and a housing 40 for supporting the holder 50. In the state of being held by a bracket plate 30, the fuel sender 10 is inserted through an opening 95 of a fuel tank 90 into the tank 90 as a liquid level detection module 100. In the bracket plate 30, in an insertion direction ID of the housing 40 held by a bracket body part 31 and a holding pawl part 32, a guard wall part 37 is erected. When inserting the liquid level detection module 100 to the opening 95, the guard wall part 37 protects the housing 40 by being in contact with a peripheral edge part 96 of the opening 95 before the housing 40.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remaining liquid quantity detection system capable of highly accurately detecting current remaining quantity of liquid stored in a container even when supply voltage of a power source fluctuates.SOLUTION: A liquid level sensor 20 has: a sensor regulator 31 which stabilizes meter supply voltage applied by a meter regulator 50; and a signal output section 35 which varies frequency tc of a detection signal depending on the height of a liquid level 91 of a fuel. A meter control circuit 40 generates detection voltage on the basis of the detection signal output from the signal detection section 35 as well as the meter supply voltage. The meter control circuit 40 also acquires voltage variation ΔV during a predetermined time Δt when the detection signal falls in a proportional range PR where a value of the detection signal varies in proportion to elapsed time. Then, the meter control circuit 40 converts the acquired current voltage variation ΔV into remaining quantity information on the basis of a data table where a correlation between the voltage variation ΔV and the remaining quantity of the fuel is preliminarily specified.
