PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the availability of important display information required for a crew while the possibility that an inaccurate picture will be displayed in an aircraft instrument display system. SOLUTION: This system includes a video switch 308 which performs switching under the control of an integrity inspecting processor 306 based on the integrity of graphic display offered by a first video graphics processor 300. If the integrity inspecting processor 306 detects inharmonious conditions to the first video graphic processor 300, the switch 308 is switched so that pictorial information changes to offering from a second video graphic processor 302. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display engine operation states to be simply and easily readable, and display residual output allowances that can be demandable, to a pilot. SOLUTION: This display device comprises a measuring stage 7 related to engines 2a and 2b for measuring first parameters TQ, NG, and ITT related to output of the engines 2a and 2b, a computing device 3 related to measuring devices for computing second parameters PI, PIa, and PIb to indicate output of the engines 2a and 2b based on the first parameters TQ, NG, and ITT, and a display 4. The display 4 comprises an output scale 20 having reference indicators 23, 24, and 25 to indicate operation limit values PL1, PL2, and PL3 of the engines 2a and 2b, and cursors 21a and 21b that cooperate with the output scale 20 and the reference indicators 23, 24, and 25 to simultaneously display current values of the second parameters PI, PIa, and PIb, and output allowances M1, M2, and M3 that the engines 2a and 2b can use.
